For whatever reason, it seems like a pick from OSU is mandatory every single year.

I guess they were looking at Apple, the S or DT.

OSU has several good D prospects to choose from in this draft. They will likely have 5 go in the first 2 rounds. Given the Steelers affinity for Buckeye's it's not a stretch to say they could likely take one.

Aside from all the D prospects they a C Jones, Braxton Miller, Decker who all have potential not to even mention Elliot who will be gone long before we pick. With the number of potential prospects and our history of drafting OSU players I'd say another is likely.

I know you kid. JB will be gone in top 5 picks. Plus, not a 3-4 DE any how, right?

I realize it won't happen. Just having a bit of fun stirring the ****. Could he be put @ OLB? Would certainly get after it...

I'm sure you'd figure out something with him, even if it meant changing an entire scheme. :)

Too slow for OLB. His stock has dropped the last month; he was once considered the #1 over all pick. Not now. He doesn't have elite closing speed. He will be good, but not elite.

I'd love to get Braxton Miller in the third, Cardale Jones in the 4th. Hell, I wouldn't be upset with Decker in the first, or S Vonn Bell in the 2nd. I DON'T like Apple in the first whatsoever.

you say that as if the Steelers still play a 3/4.

Tomlin is facing the wrong F'n direction! That clown can't do anything right!

I would love to see the Steelers consider Lee of OSU at 1-25 to play SS. Sub 4.5 forty, suposed to be strong in coverage and a good blitzer, and 230 #. .Maybe a Troy type prospect.

I really like this Ohio State pipeline.

Given that they want to re-sign Beachum and are taking a look at Okung, I doubt they want to take a tackle in the first. It'd be nice to solidify that spot with a veteran and grab one of the top CB, SS or DL instead.

But, but, but isn't there a guy from northeastern Appalachian tech that's 5'2 140 lbs that runs a 4.2 40? He'd look great in black and gold...why scout the majors?

No thank you to Cardale Jones. I think Braxton Miller could have a great career at wide receiver. It was a brilliant move on his part to switch positions.

I want no part of Cardale Jones. He's just too big of a project. He couldn't even run Ohio State's simple offense where all the reads are pre-defined and easy. He had a hot streak for a few games that happened to be playoff games. He struggled once teams got film on him and OSU was the most talented team in the country.

Look at all the work the steelers put into Landry Jones just to get him to the level of possibly adequate. And Landry was miles ahead of Cardale as a passer.

On a side note, Urban Meyer ****** up the season. OSU should have easily won the championship last year. Just look at all the top prospects they have in this draft on both sides of the ball. Best RB, 2 NFL talent WRs, a top TE. one of the best OL. Braxton Miller as an X factor. Now look at the defense with 7 guys who will be drafted in the first few rounds.

Meyer tinkered too much with the offense, couldn;t decide what he wanted to do. Elliot was right to call him out for not giving him the ball.

Agreed tape. It was a massive failure OSU didn't win it all. They dominate on paper.
