Honestly, the Colts had two plays that totaled half of their entire offensive output. It's unfortunate that this game was as close as it was, because it surely could've escaped us, but let's not act like this team was marching up and down the field all game long. Hell, their field goal drive in he second quarter was even aided with three penalties against us. Let's put it like this: the Colts ran all of 7 plays in Steelers territory the ENTIRE game, and that was all in the second quarter. The d wasn't non-existent. They busted coverage twice, resulting in touchdowns.
So was the OL bad just for Bell? Ben brought an unfocused team down10 points on the road. Its what he does. Like I said Brown did not have a good game dropping that long pass that would have put us on the 6 yard line or so.
I was wrong Williams, you are proving me wrong. I thought Big Red could do better. That is not the case. Excellent game today 98, and I'm done bitching about you for the rest of the year!
I was happy that they all contributed today. Brown was drawing coverage, and JuJu was making plays in traffic and 1 on 1 on the edge. JuJu is continuing to show he can do it all and wants to be relied on. He's doing it all. What a great pick, and just imagine where our O would be if we didn't spend a 2nd rounder on him last draft!
Bryant had some of the biggest catches of the game. The 2pt was huge, and his drag, catch and run in the 2min offense was beautiful. If he keeps making these plays instead of running backwards on end arounds, he will draw coverage. This game is an overall positive step for Bryant making plays for our offense.
I agree Bryant made some progression in the field of play. NOW he needs to keep on doing it and continue NO social media. I want BRYaNT to succeed as well as JuJu and Antonio. Our team gets better and better as the down stretch is coming into play.
