Does any coach choke more in the biggest games? Kansas City had a great chance to win or at least tie with 3 time outs.

And his team choked it away as it’s done in all his years going back to his Eagles days. Put it in the big games and it’s close but no cigar every time.

Allthough it was a BIG game season wise I don't think is has the impact as it's billing up to. YES a game loss affects standings but what will affect the standings more is how KC responds to up coming games. They had room to lose one but with the AFC pack coming on stronger their window, similar to ours, is closing. Add another lose to KC and we are #1 seed. This is the time of the season that I enjoy the most because even at the beginning the games matter but at this stage,........they really matter. ANDY REID does have troubles and I think the cheifs have peaked and now it's a matter of how long they can hold the "peak". The STEELERS are still trending upwards and yet to peak. Like it or not, TOMLIN has this team right where it needs to be and my hopes is to continue to the promised land.

Andy's MO is the opposite of Tomlins. He always starts hot, gets a big lead in the standings, then falls flat down the stretch and loses in the playoffs.

Plus it sucks when you can score 50 points and lose. The new NFL people...

yeah, 100 points in one game, WTF

If he doesn’t win this year with that offense, Andy Ried is cenented as this generations Marty Shottenhiemer.... one hell of an offensive mind who isn’t a good head coach lol

The new NFL. Cheap points and even cheaper yards. Just trash. Everyone gets a participation trophy for doing so well. Yaaaay. All of the records that will be broken in this new arena era should have this* beside it. Much like that crap in fraudboro*****

At the risk of sounding like an old curmudgeon, the NFL ain't what it used to be.... it's now all about stats, Vegas, Fantasy Leagues, video game-offense. That's what sells now. Today's rules guarantee that the defensive play of Lambert, Butkus, Singletary, Taylor, Atwater, etc. etc. will end up as historical anecdote.

Andy is one of two coaches that won 8 or more playoff games with a worse playoff record than Tomlin.

22 other coaches who have won 8 or more have a better playoff record.

He and Tomlin share similar flaws on clock management.

Winning big games with McNabb wasn’t easy.

I think the Qb play is very good right now. To good for zone defenses in some cases.

I’d rather rush 5 and put by best six coverage guys on the felid taking my chances rather than to give up 50 points on sustained drives.

The turnover will come.

Zone or off man isn’t going to work with the top Qb and Receiver talent we see today.

Also the DB’s as a group seem to have declined a bit.
