And this is why Pittsburgh fans are so angry...

Another thing,..........HOW many great players will the cheater's put in the hall of fame??? I mean as dominant as they are you'd think their GREAT players would be locks. Something beside legitamite play has made them dominant the last 15 years and I don't think it's their GREAT players status. Look at the STEELERS 70s and how many players have been inducted. Their dominance was against other dominance teams. Who are the dominance cheaters opponents??? Yes different era's but you get my point.

Regardless of the spin, **** is S-H-I-T

Salute the nation

I'm not the right person to talk about the cheating part. I'm not nearly as mad or think it mattered as much as many fans here do. And I think it was much more widespread around the league than people think and New England (like almost everything we talk about) just did it better.

And I think deflategate was just a witch hunt bullshit from start to finish.

But that's me.

I agree, at least as it pertains to the Steelers. Maybe in the '01 AFCC because they did it at the SB, why would one believe they didn't against the Steelers to get there, but even then, they knew Kordell Stewart was weak throwing over the middle, and just dared him. In the '04 game you had a rookie QB who just hit the wall.

Well, smarts are tough to measure these days. We don't have access to wonderlic scores, the interview or the psychological tests that these prospects are also put through.

For all we know, Belichick is just a better interviewer. He knows what to look for.

One thing I notice a lot about Belichick is he loves to give athletes a shot if they played multiple positions (or even multiple sports). I think he really appreciates non-specialization and the ability to improvise and "learn on the fly". He's made successes of lacrosse players and turned WR's into DB's. Edelman was a QB. Some of his offensive lineman are foreign or just learning the game.

Believe me, the athleticism is there, but it's not as defined by height/weight/speed/explosion numbers that we measure at the combine. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Belichick and the Patriots are one of the few voting to change the whole combine setup (unless they feel they have an advantage over the league right now, so why change things).

Maybe it isn't as smarts as it is identifying players who have their priorities in order in a sense. No doubt Brown works hard, I don't question that. But maybe while he is planning out his next TD celebration, they receivers in NE are looking at a little extra tape or studying the defense or whatever. Call it smarts or attention to detail, but something separates them.

To break that down so you don't have to think at all.

9 passes of 10+ yards.
6 passes between 5 yards and 10 yards in the air.
17 passes of less than 5 yards in the air.

And our defensive backs and linebackers were playing an average of 7 to 10 yards off the line of scrimmage all day, with no bump and run and no effort whatsoever to disrupt the timing of the receivers or pressure Brady.

Thank you, Coach Butler and Coach Tomlin.

You sure as **** outsmarted em!

And now we know how much smarter the Falcons coaches are.

In the first half anyway...

But, let us not forget that a drone flew over the Falcons practice for 2 hours - not the P*ts...

The Falcons offensive game plan came up missing for a bit before the game - not the P*ts...

The Falcons headsets went out at the end of the 3rd quarter and through the 4th - not the P*ts...

It's beyond ******* ridiculous. Why somebody doesn't take out Brady's knee as soon as the headsets go out, I don't know. It seems like the most logical way to get them running again.

I'm sure he was being his usual deadpan sarcastic self, but Belicheat said after winning the SB that he's five weeks behind everybody else on planning for next season.

Yet Tomlin b@ll washers will roll their eyes at the obvious truth!

# He's a reason why we blow it in the playoffs and underachieve in some seasons.

NE's receivers are apparently athletic enough to play in the nfl. In the super bowl, they had their troubles early on, but overcame and didn't dwell on the first half. For NE, football smarts, a certain discipline to where they stay in a game even while behind. I hate NE for cheating, but there is a point as fan of any other team in the nfl, you just have to admit that the patriots take chances on no name guys and let them do their thing to shine. Hoodie's coaching allows his players to show case their strengths rather than exposing their weaknesses. Teams who have beat NE in meaningful games didn't go against the grain, the went after NE's weaknesses. So gotta give the cheats their credit. They find guys who play and remain under the radar off field wise
