And that ladies and gentlemen, is life after Ben Roethlisberger

Backup QB will be Rudolph, but we do need to bring a proven RB because Conner no matter how much I like him just can't stay healthy

How did this become a discussion about Tomlin, until you brought it up.

It is just that obvious with your comments. You defend everything that can be linked to the coach. It is ok that there is bad and goods with the guy. He doesn't need saving in the areas he fails in. It is bad as the posters that hate everything about him. No middle ground just keep pushing that agenda.

EVERYTIME anyone has mentioned addressing the QB position the response has been that Ben has plenty of years left. When they did address it with Rudolph, it was viewed by some (including Ben) as a controversial move.

The way the NFL is set up now, you really don’t want the next guy before 2-3 years prior to actually playing him. See NE and Jimmy G.

Keep Rudolph. Bring in a Fitzpatrick type of journeyman. Ben May have three of four good years left. Like this poster said, we need a reliable RB, and at least one complementary WR that can be a #1type. Sign Watt now!!

The Redskins were liking what they were seeing with Ben, but they're loving what they're seeing without Ben. MT gots krazee skillz.

Just to name a few.. and They were the starters.
For the youngsters who don't remember life before Ben, this is what the 21 years between him and Terry Bradshaw was like.

Team needs to bring in a QB and RB next year and draft or bring in a G and then retain their own as much as possible. Fail in any of these areas and you will see a repeat good but not great season. And if anything makes them think Ben won't recover they better quickly address the issue.

Still had a blast watching every game. It's a team approach..

In today’s NFL you don’t want them more than a year out, and in many cases you might be starting him during the first year.

Not to worry, there are quite a few decent free agent QB's available after this season, for the coaching staff to ruin.

Unfortunately,no matter what the buck stops at the head coach, front office. Like it or not, that’s the way it is. As so,he will be mentioned in most threads. As I said last week and before, the biggest mistake was not having a experienced proven backup. There was nothing wrong with having Rudy or Duck on the roster. The problem was having both of them. There was nothing wrong with giving either one of them a shot after Ben went down. The problem was having both of them totally inexperienced. Sound like a broken record? That’s just the fact. Especially knowing we have a 37 year old QB.

And once again like it or not, that was the decision of the FO,HC. And because of it,another wasted **** season. And please for the sake of my sanity, all you guys that have said no matter what this season has been a win, coach of the year, all the injuries, blah ,blah ,blah. Just ******* stop that ****. What a crock. Once again no playoffs. If you think Baltimore won’t take a perverse pleasure in driving the nail in our coffin, you haven’t been watching the AFC North rivalry over the past decade.

Next year is all in on Ben. Has to be with this defense. So, to your point, bring in an FA vet QB who can win a couple if Ben goes out for a couple weeks. If Ben can't come back or struggles, the team is ****** anyway.

Starting to think draft an RB and WR with the second rounder and the assumed 3rd round comp pick.

OL will need addressing as well.

Is it just me, or does Ben look like he’s about 300LB now?
Maybe not 300 but he has been trolling the sidelines in fashionable Deuce Staley sweats. How could he possibly be gaining weight? Even with a boogered up elbow you know comeback Ben has been rockin it in the gym!

Why cause he has a beard? Ever since he grew a beard, this is talked about every week.

Ben is lazy. He isn't eating right or working out. He is fat. It shows. Can he get in shape? Will his elbow heal completely? Will he be used properly?

Nothing else to talk about after a loss but bashing Ben? Damn some of you people on here are ******* dumb.
