1. Eddie Goldman - DT, Florida State - simply put - Ngata II
2. PJ Williams - CB, Florida State - Big frame, fast and he can catch. Upgrade over Ike.
3. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - CB, Oregon - He reminds me of the new improved Willie Gay
4. Jeremy Langford, RB, Michigan St - can't go wrong w/ bring in a backup that comes from a good RB producing school

1. Eddie Goldman, NT, Florida State - With Heyward and Tuitt, let's solidify the defensive line with another huge, powerful body in the middle.
2. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon - Knee injury and size are worrisome, but the talent is there to be a starter and a good one.
3. Marcus Peters, CB, Washington - If you can take a tiny running back in the third round, then you can take potentially the best cornerback prospect. Worth the character risk at this point of the draft.
4. Ben Koyack, TE, Notre Dame - Good blocker with upside as a receiver. Pretty much the perfect developmental No.2 TE for this team.

1. Eddie Goldman DT, Florida St. Best player available.
2. Cameron Irving OL, Florida St. Too Veristile and talented to pass up on based on how this mock went. Would have taken Marcus Golden here but he was gone the pick right before.
3. Marcus Peters CB, Choke-em-out-U. Agree with Steelerfan448 above. Wouldnt touch him before here but, hey, since we like throwing away third round picks, at least this one has a huge up side.
4. Geneo Grissom OLB, Okahoma. Like Ben Koyack here also but i think we might go after TE Clay from dolphins in FA.

Are we Mocking this Mock? I see a couple of people took PJ Williams in the second. Good pick there, but if we are using Mock the Mock rules you cant take him in the second because Chicago already has him off the board.

How you taking Ifo in the 3rd if he's off the board in the 2nd?

I completely missed his name when reading it!

1. Maxx Williams TE Minnesota
2. Owamagbe Odighizuwa DE/OLB UCLA
3. Marcus Peters CB Washington
4. Rob Havenstein RT Wisconsin

Williams can be a special TE, Great athlete and receiver. Willing blocker who needs work but so do pretty much all college TEs these days.

These rankings will be completely different in a few weeks after the combine.

Kinda strange to see how many people are targeting Eddie Goldman in the first - hopefully is #trending!!!

EDIT:

3. Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma - Here's to hoping he's as good as all the Beckham's in professional sports (David & Odell)
4. Za'Darius Smith, DE/OLB, Kentucky - Maybe, just maybe, he's Julius Pepper reincarnated???

I dont know why you jaggers are even going through this in a serious fashion. It doesn't matter who the Steelers draft, all you jaggers are gonna do is *****, moan, fight, name call, and scream for Tombert to be FIRED all while making fun of Cleveland's draft and what a bunch of fucktards they are every year.

Why dont you guys make a mock Tombert draft? instead of who you would LIKE to see in a Steeler jersey, make a draft of all the mediocre players that you believe the Steelers will draft and make sure that you draft them WAY ahead of where an intelligent NFL fan would draft them. For instance.

1. Some 5' 2" CB- "cause you cant coach speed"
2. Some fat **** - "cause you cant draft size"
3. Some other fat **** - "cause he has a pedigree"

That way, when Tomlin and Colbert have their presser at the end of each round you guys can have a beer and exchange "I told you so's" and already have your expectations set accordingly. This will save the Moderators from banning people, save on site costs due to bandwidth consumption, and save all of you from obtaining SIVs (Sand In Vagina).

Why not at least have hope until it happens?

I went with a trade down from 1.22 to 2.33 with the Titans for their 3rd.

2 - Max Williams TE: Best TE in the draft
2orig - Odighizuwa OLB: Beast off the edge but doesnt' have a ton of bend.
3 - Jake Fisher LT: Adds some weight and becomes your new LT in 16' while Beachum slides to LG.
3orig - Marcus Peters CB: If he checks out character wise, I would take him in the 1st. Since he is still there in this mock, you run up to the podium with grin of kid.
4 - Eric Rowe S: converted to S due to speed deficiencies.

Looking at the weak CB crop this year, it really underscores how the steelers ****** up last year by not getting any in a deep CB draft. But we're all set at backup punt returner.

Steelers may have to trade up in this draft if they want a CB.

Shaquille does not agree with this post...

Rnd 1: Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss
Sure he's 5-9 but the Steelers like their CB's short and also a lower ranked guy, which the Steelers also prefer

Rnd 2: Reese Dismukes, C, Auburn
It's high time we draft a solid back-up for Pouncey, ie prepare for vis major / injuries

Rnd 3: Max Garcia, C/G, Florida
Again, a little more depth at that critical C spot

Rnd 4: Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor
I'm bored of seeing Gradkowski's ugly mug, time for an upgrade

Clearly we'll need to pick up a solid OLB and more secondary help, but heck, that's what rounds 5-7 are for.

1 nt Goldman Fsu
