Analysis: Preseason Week 4 Talent Depth Chart at WR

I think DHB should be on the outside looking in. Coates can play ST's. And I think Hunter showed enough to stick.

I'm with this..Coates and DHB are the same to me might as well go younger with a chance to grow..

I hear you on DHB but I'd probably go with Ayers over Coates. Ayers was injured some during camp but Coates still didn't show much to me. For a guy fighting for a roster spot, I just didn't see the hustle from him. Even Cobi Hamiltion flashed at times.

I'm in the AYERS corner on hopes he makes it but realize he has an uphill battle there. I think if he had not been injured earlier in training camp things would be different. PR is something you need more than just one game to prove yourself thus the injury held him back from more chances durring pre-season game oppurtunites. Could be a case of to little showtime.

Salute the nation

Steelers keep 6. Hunter on the team, Coates cut. We should have traded Coates when he had better value...

I think DHB is a coaches darling because of his teams play. They don't even consider him so much as a receiver 'cause he is last on the list ..so to speak. I agree he is holding a younger guy's spot but he is very productive on just about every one of the special teams. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if he keeps his hat another season.
