CRAZY days ahead. I think Conner is better in pass protection and catching outA the backfield. That doesn't mean SNELL can't light them up given the oppurtunity but I don't think Coach Tomlin will gamble to that legnth.
An injury may get him into that mode but Conner has been well preserved to this point an injury doesn't seem as likely.
I wouldn't use him as our #1 RB unless Connor gets hurt but while some guys don't look good on paper or on film, they're still ballers who get results in the end.
I think if the line doesn't do better in the run game it doesn't matter. A lot of the time it seems like there are one or two guys hitting the RB before he gets to the line of scrimmage. You aren't going to have much success that way no matter who is carrying it.
