Not all Muslims are terrorists but virtually all terrorists are Muslims.

I don't, not at all. I just want 2nd amendment rights to be applicable to "law abiding, gun-carrying Americans" and not for "nuts with guns". That's why I think gun laws should be much stricter, to make sure it stays that way. Turn "nuts with guns" into "nuts that wanted guns but were turned away." And yes, I know whatever the gun laws are some nuts, criminals and terrorists will still get their hands on guns. I'm just suggesting we should make it considerably harder for them to do so.
The problem is who is defining "nuts." I think I understand what "nuts" is, but someone else? Who knows.
For example, I am a gun guy. I enjoy collecting and shooting military weapons, WW1 and WW2. I have shot in high powered rifle competitions and such. When I shoot at my local range, I have had guys come up to me, not many, but a few, and question why I need that stuff. It is an M1 Garand for crying out loud, it shoots a .30-06 just like your deer rifle, I say. So perhaps to them I am a "nut."
The problem with new laws, at least the ones I hear bandied about, is that the only people that it will make harder to get guns for is the law-abiding citizen. That is always the case. I have a real problem with that. I just want to know how taking guns away from me or keeping me from getting them would make anybody safer. I shoot my rifles safely. When I am done I clean them properly and make sure everything is in working order. I then store them safely under lock and key. However, every law discussed seems to limit my capacity in some way.
We do not need new laws. The ones on the books need o be enforced. However, this President is not interested in that, Just like Clinton wasn't. They are perfectly fine with death as long as it advances their political agenda. In this case, do not prosecute gun crime. Eventually these people kill. Blame guns.
The Muslims who go around killing non-Muslims are the true Muslims and following what their religion tells them. The ones who don't go around killing people are slackers.
I dunno, I think it's been pretty obvious.
Because they lack basic common sense in all facets of life.

Anyone who practices their religion to extremes gives me the creeps. Mormons, radical Islamists, rattlesnake handling strychnine drinkin hillbillies, etc.
But one of those you listed has been conducting a worldwide jihad for the past 1400 years, killing all who get in their way. And therein lies the warning that we all need to heed.
I don't consider every Muslim to be a threat. That depends on how seriously they take their religion. Actually it is a fascist political ideology that masquerades as a religion. And it is hell bent on dominating the world. Everything that ISIS or Al Qeada has done can be justified Islamically, which is why you don't see a lot of open criticism. And those that do criticize become targets of the orthodox followers. Although many give lip service to criticizing terrorism, I think the numbers cited by Steeltime reveal a darker truth.........most muslims would like to see all legal systems replaced with Sharia. Europe is going through a cultural crisis because of allowing widespread muslim emigration. Let that be a lesson for us here.

It is the governance of people using Sharia Law that is the problem.
And as a country, we need to reconcile how to stand up against Sharia Law while being tolerant of Islam. And we have to make it clear to Muslims that decide to live in the west that Sharia Law is completely incompatible with our constitution and democracy and we are not going to be tolerant of intolerance just based on religious freedom.
Our foreign policy should denounce Sharia Law as strongly as we used to denounce Communism and Fascism and we should not be afraid to compare them.
Countries that use Islam to create governments that restrict freedoms, discriminate based on race, creed or religion, and use violence and fear to keep their populations in check should be criticized just as harshly as we did during the Cold War.
We can't pussyfoot around the truth that, as a country, we can be against Sharia Law and still be tolerant of Muslims and give them all the freedoms other religious groups have in our country. If Muslims can't reconcile that, I think that's their fault.

I am. Using Sharia Law to govern is the exact opposite of separation of church and state.
Part of the reason it's completely incompatible with our constitution and legal system.
Firstly, Muslims are the intolerant ones, not us. They are the religion that discriminates against all others.
Secondly, as Muslims, they have a religious obligation to impose Sharia when given the chance. Does that mean that we should ban the religion in the US, based upon treason laws?
Maybe we should, though. You never know which one. I wish those Marines would have been allowed to see a Muslim as a threat and were allowed to carry a weapon.

I think what he was trying to say is how to be tolerant of Islam while denouncing Sharia. They are inseparable.

No, the Christian girl and Muslim girl used to play together until the Christian family confronted the Muslim girl about her religion. She was 7 or 8 at the time.
Oh okay then.....
Sounds bad until the Muslim girl blows up the Christian girl.
Let me add that the parents have every right to forbid their daughter from playing with whomever they see fit (or unfit. as the case may be). The reasoning might be outdated or racist or whatever, but they are still the parents.

2) Islamic scholars have said the Koran is to be read and applied chronologically. The stuff about peace and tolerance is in the first part of the Koran. The parts about killing, subjugation and general fuckery is at the back of the Koran.
So this puts a shadow of mistrust on all Muslims.
