Alabama vs Florida State

Florida State in self destruct mode. Dont think Hurts is good enough to get bama a championship
 
Saban versus Fisher is a huge mismatch.

13/31 for 131 yrds and a td is not good. He is simply not a good enough passer.

Yet he hung over 30 points on Clemson and was one last illegal play from winning a NC as a freshamn.

Meanwhile Francois is done for the year with a torn ACL.
 
Truth is that college football is killing itself. When one team has inherit advantages and continually wins it sucks the interest out. Unless you can demonstrate that 7 -10 teams have a legitimate shot its useless.
 
Not much of a game. Noles turnovers killed them. No drama.
 
FSU special teams sucks ***. Good grief. My only beef with that game was the non call pass interference at the half that screwed fsu from having a first and goal. Instead they end up with nothing . I don't see either team winning a championship this year. FSU doesn't have a qb now and Alabama doesn't have enough a passing attack worth a ****.

On a better note Penn State has a real shot this year if they stay healthy.

Those were his stats against clemson.... he did add 63 rushing yards and a td. 106 of his yards were to Howard. No matter how you try to spin it his numbers were not good. I know he was a freshman, but bama is going to need a better passing attack. I am not a bama hater, but do not think hurts is the answer at qb

Georgia looked good too. Jake Fromm has an arm and helped the offense move. I know it's App State, but the offensive pieces and defense is finally making stops. We'll see how they fare against Notre Dame

And he just beat the number 3 team in the nation and of course Bama does not need a great QB to win National Championships as history has proven under Saban.
 
Almost seems like they go out of their way to have a no name QB. They dont want it all on one kid. Their starting defense is about 2/3 comprised of guys who will be in the nfl. They have a minimum of 4 monster backs of which anyone of them could start on all but a couple college teams and a road grading oline. They will lose some playoffs. They have lately. But they will continue to roll into the BCS playoffs until Saban is done or they get jammed up on a violation.

He did not do squat. He had one good pass of over 50 yrds and the rest of his passes combined went for 46 yrds. Bama won due to defense and terrible special teams by FSU. Bama will win alot of games and maybe even the NC, but it won't be due to Hurts. Not sure how people can defend hurts as a legit QB at this point. He put up several games under 200 yards passing and only one game over 300. If bama could find a legit qb they would be unstoppable
 
Yeah he is really holding then back. If not for the illegal pick play by Clemson on the game winning last second TD he already has a NC, ***** all you want, stats are for losers.
 
Bama vs FSU was a pretty ****** game overall. Bama should have smooth sailing to the playoff through the mediocre SEC. I doubt any SEC team has an offense to challenge Bama.

So much for Tom Herman the genius at Texas, losing at home to Maryland. MD doesn't have half the talent of Texas.

Good week for the Big Ten. Their top teams Penn State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan looked strong. Maryland pulls an upset over Texas. Iowa allowing only 3 points to Wyoming who has Josh Allen at QB who may go top 5 in the 2018 draft. Rutgers played tough Vs 8 Washington with Wash only pulling away late. Purdue nearly upset 16 Louisville.

Penn State looked really sharp vs Akron. I forget who they play next week.

Saquon Barkley looks like a man amongst boys at RB for PSU. Too bad he's a likely top 5 pick and won't be around as a replacement for Bell next year. PSU TE Mike Gesicki is an incredible athlete at the position who could be a pick for the Steelers in RD 1. He had 2 TDs and one of them was a throw behind him where he spun around 360 and plucked it out of the air, making it look routine.


Florida scores only 17 points vs Michigan and they had 14 points scored by their defense. I know they had a bunch of guys suspended but Michigan had a defense of almost entirely new starters. Pathetic offensive performance.

Chip Kelly HC at Florida next year?
