AJ McCarron a free agent

Steelers could sign him and trade Ben and Bell to the Browns and take barkley
Purple drank is affecting your brain...
Not a lot of stats on his resume. How would anybody know his value ?
Er, you have the resident Bama fan (me) to give you that!!!
Most of those with the boner are the ones who have his wife's with poster showing her in uniform !!!!!!!!!

She's a beauty...

The bengals see him every day and would rather have Andy Dalton start. McCarron is a complete unknown.

SEC hate. Period...

There's no need to THINK, Ark - Landry should be a goner and welcome AJ with open arms - ensuring him the team in 2-3 years...

Based on what???? I haven't seen him up seat redheaded BB gun QB. I'm sure he is equal or slightly better than JONES but we will draft our BEN replacement. Just my opinion today, subject to change tomorrow.

If the Brownies were smart, they would throw some cash at AJ to start the next 1-2 years until their #1 overall QB is ready to take over. That would be a solid 1-2 punch as they round out their roster.

so you're saying there is no chance of this happening

Browns could sign AJ and then draft Barkley and do anything with their other first round pick. Seems they already were sold on him when they tried to trade for him earlier this year.

Steelers sign Bell...trade him, Ben and Brown to the stains for their entire set of draft picks

sign AJ, draft Barkley and use the rest of the picks to fix the defense.....stairway to seven

We haven't had a player with a super-hot wife since Kris and Anna Benson (PIrates) left town.

She's a looker fur shur.....

She would look good in Black & Gold. Wasn't used properly in Cincinnati.

so who gets the most money

Cousins
McCarron
Keenum
Bridgewater
Bradford

Man, based upon what Garropolo got, it is hard to tell these days.

I'm going to go with Bradford or Cousins.

Cousins-26m/year,5 years
Keenum-might get franchised, will likely get a look in the range of 18m/year , something like 2/36 probably
AJ-probably 15m range, ala glennon 3/45
Bradford-something like 1 year 10m, maybe 2 years 25, remember Cutler made like 10m last year.
Bridgewater-no idea, likely 1 year 8-10m if his contract doesn't toll,

My guess would be

1 Cousins - most proven, least risky with the public. I think he is overrated. His numbers look great but if you actually watched a redskins game, you would have seen a streaky passer who misses opportunities. He is seen as the best though so the team that signs him will probably have happy fans at first

2 Keenum - seen as reliable. A team that feels close to being a contender could go for him . Vikes should keep him. I'm not sure Cousins is an upgrade

3 McCarron - the unknown with upside. A team without a QB and in rebuilding mode may go for the potential. I can see Arizona making an offer. Maybe the Pats go for him to groom to replace Brady, Chargers could also be interested to replace Rivers.

4 Tyrod Taylor - he did OK in buffalo but they traded away his weapons. Tough to judge him. RPO is all the rage now. Some team may take a shot on him. If he doesn't hold out to be a starter, i would think teams with mobile QBs like Houston, Seattle and Carolina would be very interested.

5 Bradford - when healthy he's been pretty good. His injury history could make him cheap. I can't see any team making a major investment because he's almost guaranteed to get hurt. He has made a ton of money in his career so maybe he is willing to sell himself cheap to the right situation. Jacksonville?

6 Bridgewater - i doubt anybody will give him big money. Injury concerns and not much on film to be considered proven. He also lacks McCarron's size which is why McCarron will get more money as a unproven player.
