Torn Hamstring....to undergo an MRI per Ian Rapoport

That sucks. They lost Andy Dalton for a significant period last year, and AJ this year. They're probably done (if they weren't already).

Too bad! I hate to this this happen.

Thats a shame, AJ is a helluva receiver and a stand-up dude, hate when it happens to anyone let alone a player of his caliber.

I hope he gets some good news, but that is tough if he is out of the year.

Maybe Burfict could just get run over by a car in exchange for a healthy rest of team, too bad for AJ

If he had been working out on the Inverse Curl machine, he might have prevented the injury. Teams using that machine report half the hammy injuries. I am sorry he had this injury. He is a great player.

Yes, yes, if only, tsk tsk tsk.

Maybe you ought to call the bengals facility and give the strength coach this advice on the "inverse curl machine"...?? I mean, it sounds like a really good idea, man, I'm talking cutting-edge, never-attempted-before ideas, its friggin' brilliant! Hey, quick question: are you albert einstein?? Because you seem soooooper-smart, 'n stuff

Yeah, its true hamstring curls are an important piece in that area of strength training, they alone, however, are not enough for the professional athlete to stay in peak condition physically. H curls are only one piece of the strength training regimen.

You have a link that says Green hasn't used them in his strength conditioning? Or that the Bengals don't have or use IC machines at their facility?

I know Mike Brown is notoriously frugal with spending money on the franchise, but I would be shocked he did have state of the art equipment for his players. Usually (next to the $$$) part of selling FA to come to a franchise is the workout facilities.

Unless it's Burfict
**** that classless *******

I could see him being the exception to the rule.... only because his intent is to injure...

Give it up dude. HOW do you know he isn't using one and how do you know he isn't in the 1/2 who does use one and got injured????

I never wish injury on any player ever. Injuries are a part of the game and the players themselves know this better than us. They go for the BIG money to combat this issue. Can't blame them.

Salute the nation

Pop seriously there is no way to know what players use certain workout machines.

But if you feel strongly email the Rooney's about your ground breaking injury preventive ideas.

Add Gio Bernard to the list of done for the year too. Bengals are in real trouble now.

we are not the only ones whose players are dropping like flies?

That's odd. With hamstrings you need flexibility. Doing curls and strength training will tighten your hamstrings, making them easier to pull and tear.

You obviously didn't study kinesiology.

They are finished with no AJ - I just hope they can get it up enough to beat the Ravens this week.

More amd more injuries are do to over conditioning. When you get big you become muscle bound. Not to the point of a body builder but enough to effect their range of motion. Then since they are by far the most physical they end up stretching those mucles beyond their limits. Look at your slightly less muscled up players, less injuries. Also throw in genes. But that's jist my opinion they can do what ever the **** they wanna do!!! Lord Keith & Lord Kevin!
