AFC Division Game - Jags vs. Steelers

It just amazes me that some of y'all can't see that the 14 points off of turnovers were as big a contributing factor as the ****** defense and bad coaching decisions. All combined to create this **** storm.

Ben is the absolute best QB this team has ever had. A sure H.O.F. QB ... However, he's not above reproach.

Was Ben out there on D to start the game when the Jags drove down the field with no resistance at all for a lead? Was it Ben's idea to go empty set for 3 plays on their first series? Did Ben call those two 4th and short toss plays? Did Ben call onside kick? Not to mention this team came out of the tunnel unprepared to play. Sorry, that's coaching. It was the worst I've seen since the last time Tomlin got bounced by these jokers in 07 when he decided to go for two from the friggen 22 yard line.

Anyone blaming Ben for this loss is a ******* moron. Without Ben we had no chance at all.

So, you're saying those turnovers didn't matter. They didn't affect the outcome? Weren't reflected on the scoreboard?
I'm saying that we knew our defense was suspect and we couldn't afford mistakes like that. Those turnovers affected the game as surely as the defense's inability to get stops.

No, Ben threw an Int and fumbled the ball away. Two turnovers that led to 14 points. His play early in the game was a factor in why they lost this game. But, hey let's forget about those 14 points. Let's act like they didn't happen. We won the game by 11 points and are on our way to play the Cheats* next week right?

She's saying the turnovers shouldn't have mattered when you still score 42 points. And she's right.

Turnovers always matter. They mattered today. So did the ****** defense.

Without Ben's fearlessness and risk taking a lot of the big plays never happen. I shudder to think what this team would be like without Ben the last 14 years.

110 rating, 469 yards and 5 TDS and some people still blaming him for the loss. LMAO.

And im not blaming him but if he gets rid of the ball on both plays we dont have two turnovers. You have to take the good with the bad i guess

And if he gets rid of the ball on several other plays we don't have 5 TDS. Yes, you have to take the good with the bad.

The coaching came first.

So the onside kick and 4th down decisions happened before the turnovers?? Look man it was a clusterfuck all around starting with the disappearance of Heyward and Tuitt.

I agree but that doesnt excuse them they happened. We lost as a team today no one is blameless is the point im trying to make. Its enough to go around

I don't get what you don't see. I'm not blaming Ben entirely for the loss. HOWEVER, I am saying that his turnovers played a part in the loss along with ****** defense, poor game planning by Haley and poor decisions by Tomlin in the second half. It was a total team **** show. But, some of y'all want to blame only the defense, Haley (well i'm OK with that) and Tomlin. Ben's early play cost us too.

I agree if Bell had fumbled early and it led directly to points i'd be saying the same thing

Ben had a very good game. The blame is on coaching Tomlin ‘s culture / lack of focus and bad onside kick call. And the defense.

Did you mention the part about how well prepared they were for when they play the CHEATRIOTS??????????????

Salute the nation

Still this?
Our offense put up 42 points and 500+ yards vs the #1 defense in football, way above their season average

The defense gave up basically double the points and yards they averaged all season. The Jags scored one TD vs Buffalo and one TD vs Tenn the previous two weeks. The defense is the reason we lost. If the D just plays average we still win

Tomlins defense sucks. Tomlins coaching decisions suck. The problem is tomlin. This team has talented players and a poor head coach.

This spin cycle continues I see , but this.

As many games have its main culprits. But in that J-ville loss it is.

1 Defense
2 Turnovers
3 Coaching (game plans, lack or preparation)

2 wasn't as bad as 1 so it can't be higher on the pecking order.
