Adams is on the PUP list. What does it mean?

So Adams is on the PUP list. By rule and by luck, he is eligible to return to practice after 6 weeks. That means he is available to practice this week.

If Adams is unable to go and is still injured, the Steelers have a 5 week window to activate him to practice. Whenever Adams is activated during that window, the Steelers have 3 weeks to activate him to the roster. If he's not activated in those 3 weeks, he's on the PUP for the rest of the year and will be unavailable to the team.

I think they will see where they are at with Stingily and make a decision later in the year. Get the playbook down for him and then compare him to Adams for a few weeks in practice. Best man wins.
