My wife asked some of the orthopedic surgeons she does anesthesia for and they all agree that a torn calf muscle is 4-6 weeks heeling time. Unless it's less severe that what they have said.

It talks in great depth of the injury and the time frame and the actual severity of it including what the camera showed and it's the less serious one so the healing will be faster.

I think it is a 4 week injury and if we get a bye we don't play for 4 more weeks.
 
6 weeks? Hell it'll be 6 months before he can even get back close to 100%

He might hobble onto the field at 60% and limp around trying to play, but AB won't be AB till next year.

It's over, he's done. We can only hope there isn't permanent damage.
