AB beefing with Sanders now

every time Antonio Brown hits send on Twitter, he is lowering his trade value... smh.

I like how he is reacting to the reaction of the Steelers, the players and the fans to the way he is acting. I mean, if you are dating a girl and she blows you off on New Year's Eve (the final date of the year) and will not return or answer any of my calls for weeks, are you the jerk for wanting to move on?

Top tier wide receivers are a premium in the NFL. Being a primadonna is something that a fair amount of teams will deal with if he can deliver. Just look at TO.

I'm not saying I agree with it but that is how the leauge is.

There is a difference between being a prima donna and quitting on your team. TO had a huge ego and was a prima donna, but he showed up and produced for his team. Brown would be an acceptable prima donna had he not walked out on the team.
 
We are watching the psychological implosion of AB and it very well could impact his career.

Personally, I wish he would shut up as the more he tweets, the more he picks fights with everyone, the more he attacks his team/teammates/other players/owner, the less potential trade value he has. There are likely owners out there who want no part of him already. He is not helping himself or anyone else by this tantrum meltdown.

I don't want him back for the same reasons I didn't want MeVeon Bell back. Get what we can get and move on. Ben's career is almost over and there is no need to have Bell on this roster at the end of his contract (34-35). He's clearly a problem, likely a bigger locker room cancer than L. Bell was.

AB is a petulant child seeking attention. He did not get the positive attention he so craves, so he is pitching a fit to get negative attention. Like a 2 year old or a love starved puppy.

I figured I may get burned if I bought a #26 or a #84....Was more surprised at the #84, because even though he would get out of line, he would always get back in line. Not seening that in 2019 though, time to move on from this ****

I will buy a JU-JU Jersey though....He is our Giannis Antentakoumpo

Juju is a good choice. I tend to go defense with jerseys. I got a Shazier last year right before his injury. Then I got a Watt. My goto Jersey when we need a big win is my Kreider Jersey.

I have a Rod Woodson jersey I got for my birthday the year Woodson left, it still has the damn tags on it, never worn, LOL.

I had a Faneca Jersey until he retired, bought my wife a Hampton jersey early 2000's, and I have bought a throw back Ben jersey in like 2007 or 2008. My daughter got an AB jersey last christmas from my dad. :(
 
I have tw Ben jerseys (home / road) and a road JuJu.

My son has a LeMeon jersey that is about to be changed to Rod Woodson. He also has an AB jersey. I guess that one will have to become Jermain Tuman.

Why? If they can't get adequate compensation, then keep him on the roster. Sit him and fine him until he decides to man up and honor the contract he signed. I honestly can't think of a better way wake up an egomaniac than to take him out of the spotlight.

You and I both hope for and know he is worth at least that but each day he opens his mouth or should I say fingers, he lowers that value. Time will set this right and Art duece has a plan. Good luck to US fans as we are the ones stressing over this.

So according to Emmanuel Sanders, when he himself has something negative to say, it's just "speaking the truth," but when Ben has something negative to say, Roethlisberger is "throwing somebody under the bus," or "not being a leader."

I don't think I'm the one that is going to be surprised, since I don't have an unrealistic expectation as to how this is going to turn out.

And this is exactly what I said. I wouldn't trade him. You are on the hook for a lot of money either way, so why give him what he wants?


BUT, since the Steelers can't see him being with the team next season, that indicates that he will be cut or traded. Since he likely won't be cut, that means traded. And since teams know this situation is untenable, he quit on his team and has a generally poor attitude, they aren't getting the pipe dream return that some here seem to think. I think a 3rd and a 6th would be more than generous, considering the situation. Anything less than that is probably giving him away. And I think if they trade him, they are likely going to have to give him away. Just my take. I am probably wrong. I guess we'll see.

I have 2 Ben jerseys (one Arizona SB) a Timmons, Harrison, Woodley, Polamalu, Miller and Brown rush jerseys, Stallworth, Lambert Bumble Bee, Woodley & Wallace (afraid to say), Shazier, autographed Bettis, one custom that is number 6 with the words RINGS on the back, Lloyd, Harris and my last one was JU JU......gonna get Watt, Ward and another old timer
