I watched the Netflix episodes of Enigma for the second time today and I have to say this is one weird ******* guy.
I was amazed at how he threw his family under the bus on different occasions. His parents have to be truely disappointed in him and it even mentions his absence from his grandfather’s funeral.
I had to watch this a second time and man I just came away with having zero respect for this person. He’s simply not a nice guy and defines the word narcissist which he fits perfectly.
I don’t know why the organization would even want to associate with him. He’s well past his prime and being a complete jerk certainly shouldn’t attract him to the Steelers.
If you haven’t seen this I would suggest to tune in and will give you a new perspective on this guy. Form your own opinion but I think when you view it, you may sort of agree with me.
He is so unlike the type of player this organization would be associated with in the past but nowadays with this current owner running things, I guess anything goes.
Hell we just hired John Candy as our HC so who the hell knows what’s next.

I thought his family was trying to ride his fame and he got sick of it and became estranged from them. I admit I don't know the whole story.

a large piece of meat is sitting on a wooden table

I heard all the stories and there’s a lot. I just remember how perfect his passes were in that SB win (for them)

Now I just feel there is limited options on the here and now.

I prefer the let two unknowns fight it out but our top dog wouldn’t permit that.

So then I try to figure out who could at least bring a playoff win.

Unfortunately all I got… for now.

Could it be possible that the family estranged from Ayahuasca A-Ron, the greatest Steeler QB since Ben, utilized his fame to get paid for a hachet job production on him? Sometimes family issues can get wrongly characterized, especially with a one-sided approach.

Or was the documentary balanced with the various good works he may have done and the other positive relationships in his life?

It seems a bit odd to me how Favre defrauded millions from orphans (or whatever) and Rodgers gets demonized because is less agreeable.

Good points by you! Idk all that much about the Favre situation in Mississippi so can’t really comment on that one but Rodgers and his family situation is very sad to me.
Some of his remarks about how he grew up just seems like he was taking shots at how he’s was brought up. Saying he was never really close to anyone in his family maybe just his younger brother. That had to hurt mom and dad I would think.Idk, I just put a lot in loyalty especially to family I suppose.

sometimes the respect thing goes both ways, and being ostracized publicly kinda shows the nature of the family issue.

If you reverse the lens towards his family, would good people take money for outing their son like this? And if they didn't get paid, why would they air the family dirty laundry publicly.....

Family is the most amazing thing. It is also the source of the greatest, enduring pain. We have four kids, two on each side of that legder.

Let his family be, is my advice, even when he talks about it. Chances do exist that he and they will figure it out enough to be close or closer as time progresses. No need to pigeon whole those people for the rest of their lives.

I agree with you on that one. I think family business needs to stay within the family.
I hope they can all mend their grievances soon.

In life, like most things…….. I try not it judge as I don’t know where they are in their journey.

I have no knowledge of how they got to where they are.

Tolerate, get to know the person. Just because they don’t meet your standards doesn’t mean they are wrong or outliers.

He hasn’t done anything personal to me, other-wise I would deal with it in the matter it was presented.

If he ends up playing for us, I will open arm welcome and root, until otherwise proven to not to.

I do think Rodgers is a bit odd, but there are also 2 sides to every story. Who knows how his family treated him growing up. From my understanding his family was very religious and Roders would question things which probably did not go over well. I'm not going to knock the guy for the family thing because who knows what went on behind closed doors. I think Rodgers has a small close circle of trusted people then it is pretty much F everyone else which is kind of refreshing to me.

When you come to a place
when one is lost… one must reach into the spirit world to find the way. On the
Spirit Road, he'll be shown a sign.
This is the way to the Spirit Road.
When one is lost it”ll find him the way.

Yea. Rogers seems a bit weird. So was Andy Warhol, Cher, Limas Sweed, Madonna and Britney Spears.

Benny Snell just signed on with a UFL club. Can Kyler Murray be far behind?

Speaking the truth.

My Spirit world is visited often, a very good time with a cleared out noise level, that allows a decision to be made.

I joke a lot about the Spirit World, I use that as a publicity way to get people thinking.

There is a lot to be said for one to find what it takes to get to their Spirit World and use it.

Confluence went after Favre for similar reason. Funny/pathetic.

What’s pathetic is you not taking a moment to educate yourself on the topic.

Brett Favre is a scoundrel, a pathetic person who took advantage and resources away from the truly in need.

If you lived in Mississippi, you’d understand much more about what that does to people.

@Steelerfan81

The emojos are still messed up. Can you please fix them?

Emojos, what the hell are those.
