It's shocking to see how much that guy has declined since the start of last season.

It should serve as a warning to those who automatically assume that Roethlisberger has X years of prime football left in him.

I will take your word for it. I actually gave the remote to the wife and daughter and forfeited the rest of my television watching. That's how miserable they played, and how I felt. I dont recall ever doing that before. Maybe a cheese head feels the same.

I think Rodgers has taken his insanely accurate arm for granted and lost some of the mechanics in his lower half.

He moves SO much now around the pocket. He throws off balance or across his body or at odd angles WAY too much and often when he doesn't have to.

I hate to say it but at 32 years old he's almost developing happy feet. I know his offensive line has struggled the last couple of seasons, but there is something mechanically wrong with Rodgers right now. His arm talent is still INSANELY good. But when the consistency goes, that normally means something is wrong with your lower half.

I didn't see any if the game but was he under pressure, every qb has trouble when pressured, see Brady vs the giants.

I saw the game and frankly Ben looked good today by comparison.

great analysis

State farm commercials maybe. The guy had a stellar 2011 season. Since then he's been on the decline. Slowly of course

He has had a crappy oline, running game, and inconsistent receivers. Put him on our team i think he would look better

Rodgers did look terrible. The fumbles and INT were just awful. I found myself yelling "**** you, A-A- Ron" at the TV a lot.

from NFL.com

Rodgers continued his 12-game streak with fewer than 300 yards passing -- Since Week 8, 2015, Rodgers has a passer rating of 84.0.

Count me as one fan that has seen it already. The signs began a while ago with some unremarkable outings mixed in with some solid performances. Maybe it's my imagination but when Ben is under pressure to perform or come from a couple scores down, I see his results getting worse every year.

Sure you'll be happy the next few weeks.

Anyone watch the Falcons vs Packers game? Rodgers made some incredible throws.

so, Aaron Rogers, one of the best QBs in the NFL made some "incredible" throws....******* shocking

Rogers looks like he is bored half to death. He's got this expression on his face like he's listening to the same joke for the tenth time. Then he throws a bullet to his TE in the back of the endzone, off his back foot, between two defenders.

30 out of 32 teams would take him right now over what they have, and one or both of the teams who pass might change their mind in 2 years.

Rogers does not have a star receiver to work with, has just an okay line and was missing his top two backs. This explains his happy feet.

Some of those throws in this game are as good as I've seen. Rogers has a Marino like arm with Montana like accuracy and like John Elway or Ben can throw darts on the move, or if needed run well enough for yardage.

He's a not a good teammate or well liked in the locker room so I hear. One GM said the difference between Cutler and Rogers is, Rogers can play.

I'd agree to a point. The problem is when he started he had such an insanely good line it was like he was Brady back there taking all day going through progressions and even coming back to receivers. Now he has to make decisions quicker and he is looking like an average QB. I never was that impressed with Rodgers or Brady. If you give me 5, 6, 10 seconds to throw to an NFL receiver I will look decent.

Insanely good? Really?

In Rogers best year as a pro when he almost set the record for passer rating in 2011, his line was Marshall Newhouse (Rookie 5th rounder), T.J. Lang (4th rounder), Scott Wells (7th rounder), Josh Sitton (4th rounder) and Bryan Bulaga (2nd season, 1st rounder). Rogers took 50 sacks in 2009 and 51 sacks in 2012 and both seasons went 11-5 with about a 105 QB rating.

You see a hall-of-famer in that group? I don't. Insanely good my ***. He's played with average O-line play most of his career.

There have been lots of good offensive line units in the NFL that get average play at quarterback behind them. And maybe a great offensive line guarantees at least AVERAGE quarterback play. In the 10th-16th range.

But getting into the elite quarterback play that Rogers put up in his career is on him. And it's ALL on him. This bullshit that coaches and systems and good talent around them make quarterbacks really great is just that. Bullshit. To get to that level takes work, dedication, an insane amount of talent and just being "special" that doesn't come around all that often.

If it was as easy as getting an O-line together and maybe a RB and WR, then you would see elite seasons from QB's all the time, from all sorts of QB's with different names. That's just not the case. Almost year-in, year-out the same names just keep popping up at producing points, efficiency, and wins. And most of the time when wins aren't happening it's because the QB/coach think their **** doesn't stink and they get full of themselves and forget it's a team game.

Rogers is a sure fire hall-of-famer and maybe more impressive a top-10 QB ever to play the game. You couldn't throw like him behind a good offensive line in a million dreams.

He has a hot chick at home now Olivia Munn and don't give a **** about preparation anymore.

Agreed. Aaron's peen is probably hurting from smashing Munn too much. So come game time, what looks like happy feet is just him trying to shake the pain off the weiner
