What you fail to address is that most of the national draft analysts said it was a great pick and had Bush ranked high on their big boards. Before the draft Louis Riddick called him the best pound for pound player in the draft. Are they all Steeler or Michigan homers? Your narcissism makes you think everyone must be a homer if they don’t agree with you. This is not like last year where most draft analysts had Edmunds going rounds later. Bush was picked around were most had him ranked/going.

Also, a lot of people hated the Jones pick when it happened. In the pre-draft discussions, a lot of people were worried the Steelers were going to pick him after he tested poorly and were not happy with the pick. I hated the pick and for what it is worth, wanted Eifert lol. You seem to be the one that has problems admitting when they are wrong or at least allowing for that possibility. That is hilarious since that is what you accuse everyone else of.

Play strength has room for improvement
Has some struggles in taking on blocks and will get washed away by down blocks
Hasn't learned to use hands effectively to punch and separate
Takes himself out of tackle opportunities by attacking iso-blocks and lead blocks with a shoulder
At times, will over pursue or run himself out of position in attempt to play fast and avoid having to deal with blockers

Those weren’t for Bush but Vander Esch. Maybe you should wait for Bush to bust first before beating your chest and saying you were right and everyone else was wrong. It is fine to disagree or express concerns but if people disagree with you it doesn’t mean they must be wrong and homers.

I've never said anything of the sort. I just gave my point of view. But that isn't allowed on here without constant bitching about how wrong I am. I get it. It's a Steeler board... I was on the board when the Jones pick was made. Some loved it some hated it. I argued about it and was told the same **** I'm being told now. All that stuff can be coached up. He doesn't have to have a fast 40 time. He'll only get better.

You can take your (and don't forget the OSU) and shove it up your ***. It isn't what makes me feel better. It's what I actually wrote on the board. It's called truth. I'm sure if I said one thing inaccurate about what you wrote you'd hammer it to death. I've said what I want about Bush. I see him as a solid LB that will be a starter but I don't see him as a great ILB. I think he is going to struggle against the run. I have no problem with people disagree with me. I have issues when people start using stupid sayings like "You only used the OSU game). When again that isn't true. It's another lie. We will see who is right. But even if he busts it won't matter to anyone. It will be one post that says something like "Well the draft is a crap shoot" Nobody knows who is going to be good or not. His height played into it. As well as a first rounder who played opposite of him. So I am thinking teams wonder how much Buggs benefited from a top tier talent getting a lot of looks. I liked the pick as well but those are the concerns.

Buggs was a favorite of mine at Bama... I agree with your assessment and would add that his measurables ( adding arm length here ) hurt him on draft day. Bigger motor, character and work ethic than his measurables. I project him like Chris Hoke... Uber solid depth guy that can fill in and make occasional splash plays. If that’s what he becomes as a late rounder, it’s more than a solid pick for us.

Thanks for touching on that, I should have clarified arm length when I said height, as that is what I meant. Which I shouldn't use together as some shorter players still have desirable arm length.

Hoke is a solid comparison, I would think that would be his floor.Because of being a effort type of player.

Always love when the Steelers pick those types over the looks like Tarzan plays like Jane types.

The draft gave us two good examples of that that pop into my head immediately. Metcalf / Gary.
