Uh-oh a few people agreed with me, actually several people agreed. And while I don't think Brown is a bad dude, or a dick, he is becoming a little full of himself. He wouldn't speak with local media during Super Bowl week, only nation guys, and he has a weekly show on DVE during the season to which he shows up late and leaves early all the time.
He has a show on DVE, why would they make **** up? And a few of the guys said it was no big deal that he missed, and I agree, but then a couple days later those same guys found out they checked with Brown prior to setting a date, so it's pretty obvious they aren't making **** up because they were fine with him missing it, until they found out they checked with him prior. I'm sure not all banquets, dinners, etc are the same, but this one is pretty much the same time every year, give or take a week, so it would've been very easy for them to check with him which weekend in February would work for him.
Are we not allowed to point out ****** behavior from our athletes? And again you can be a dick about something, but not be a bad person, not sure why that's so difficult to understand.

This is where you go wrong ..he was not PICKED to be the sportsman of the year until January 31 -- THE DATE FOR THE EVENT WAS DECIDED WAY Before then so there is NO way they could have changed the date based on what he said ..
That is the POINT I am making ..
and every time i have seen him in public he is very gracious to the Fans .. he may not be that way with the media but sometimes they create more problems reporting false things LOL
