8 Steelers on Super Bowl 50 "Golden Team"

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14666569/super-bowl-50-golden-team-includes-22-hall-famers

Only ONE Patriot (the kicker)

Guess the NFL is saying the Steeler dynasty is greater than the Patriot one.

Crap, can someone edit the title to say Super Bowl 50?? LOL

The same Steelers will probably be on the SB60 team as well, lol.

But of course there's no other Pats*, what players or plays were actually impressive or memorable in any of their "wins?" They have one memorable play, and it was when Pete Carroll decided to throw the ball on the goal line inside to a guy who had like one catch all year.

Reggie White, and Deion Sanders? Did they play in more than one Super Bowl?

Didn't White play in back to back, GB beat NE, then they lost to Denver. I think Deion was on the 49ers winning team then Dallas?

Deion won with Dallas (against us) and won with SF. White was on the back to back GB teams (won and lost).

Weird seeing Lambert and Ray Lewis together. Tough to argue, but I would still have LT above Lewis. Lewis had more heart, but LT had more ferocity on the field.

He makes some fine arguments. You can't even fault him for pulling Webster off his list.

I think the key is that it's based on cumulative stats from the Super Bowls, so it stands to reason that players that appeared in multiple games would take the lead here.

The fact that that same core of Steelers players from the 70s participated and won 4 puts them at the forefront of the participants.

Nice to see that Chuck Noll gets the nod for Coach over Belichick.

He does make some reasonable arguments. He has one error though, Murdering Ray played in and won two SBs, not one. He was pretty much useless in the second one though.

Very impress list !!!! Shows you what a REAL team is mde of.

Salute the nation

That Harrison pick 6 must be the most memorable thing in the history of SBs

The Patriots are a ******* fabrication. cheating *****. the kicker shouldn't even be on the list.

Oh yeah one of the great plays, but the Ben to Holmes TD to win the game with under a minute trumps that because it won the Super Bowl.
