8/29 Ask Drunk Cope!

I appreciate his willingness to put out an opinion, but not a thread on every topic that runs through his " head". But then he peacocks his positions and agenda

he opens to many threads granted. but at least he opens threads that spark conversation. not a lot of of us really do that. myself included.

Hey, Drunk Cope...I love your show. Drinking 1-800 Silver chilled this evening.

What's a great decking cover for my deck?

Nice, it is best chilled. I don't sip tequila warm unless it's anejo.

You mean an awning or a material for your deck itself. You can't beat composite. You don't have to treat it, it lasts forever, and it doesn't mark up. I'd go with that if you can. If you want shade, I hate those temporary shades, or slide out ones. Build a proper roof, that is always the best way to go.

I went with Sherwin Williams solid stain. Latex based. I was naive. It's peeling 4 yes later. I need to strip it with chemicals and power washer. Not happy

Ugh, sorry for the pain, but thanks for sharing. It will keep me away from it. I'll need to restain the deck next season.

cope! lets say you had the 6th pick in a 12 man non ppr league standard.. who would you expect to pick in rds1 2 3

Start 10 threads, one will stick. That's about the ratio. I understand, because I can do hours of research on an article and get zero replies. It happens. But I enjoy the process, and I like analyzing, and predicting outcomes.

There are a lot of variables when picking, and a lot has to do with who is picked before you. But I'll tell you 6 players I like, and one will be available as the 6th pick:

1. Elliot
2. Gurley
3. Bell
4. David Johnson
5. Barkley
6. AB

In a non PPR league, I take any of those backs before AB, but AB is a ******* stud. He's getting you points either way.

And make sure to stack a board with who you want and stick to it.

I'm going to tick off at 11 so get your final questions or topics in. Otherwise, I'll respond in the morning. I might be driving out to the game (weather depending). I'll check the weather in the morning to make a final decision.

ab will be there in every mock draft I have done. 90% of drafts I have done I take barkley freeman hill

The wife got some pineapple-lime moonshine at our tour of the McLaughlin Distillery in Sewickley. Awesome stuff. I could fill an iced tea glass with it and some ice and get blotto. Their plain rye whiskey is great as well.

Nice Ron, I haven't been there yet, but I am a fan of distilleries, and I support the local ones. We have Miscellaneous Distillery in Mt Airy, MD. They make a rum that has hints of butterscotch. Amazing stuff!

I find Bostic as a good player against the run, if we are using a better awareness Safety in the box like Burnett and hopefully soon Edmunds then Bostic might be just enough to complement Vince on those runs to the edges

Not sure, I'll keep an eye out for it. What type of Whiskey is it Coolie?

they have a few versions...they are the oldest legal distillery in Houston....all of 8 years old.....couple of years ago they had a hot chick passing out samples at the local liquor store...so I tried it and bought a bottle....been picking up some ever since....

Not the awnings...the deck itself. Composite...yeah, I need something pretty rugged because of the burning Florida sun and relentless rain.

I always enjoy a mule in a copper cup. Had my first in Pittsburgh!

copper cups are the best for anything chilled.... might be worried about metal poisoning if I drank them regularly, but you'd have to drink a ton for years to get close to that id bet

Also Wigle Whiskey in the Strip District in Pittsburgh. Ron Jr. is one of the people who gives tours there on Saturdays.

You might try JUST power washer (4000psi) with out the chemicals. Keep in mind you could damage the wood if held to close but you can see it and adjust. Find the sweet spot for distance from nozzle and you'll strip like a pole dancer. Less chemicals the better.

Salute the nation

Here's the original walls, it used to be the exterior walls before they built the additions. I had to remove the block and support the roof with new headers.

You 100% made the right choice on updating the interior walls, Cope, and going for more open concept. Well-done.

Wife and I are finishing building our home ... empty land, now home is nearing completion. Just need to finish the barn and swimming pool.

Beautiful home Steeltime. Looks like your in the Southwest somewhere. I love the open floor plan, and my wife loves the white counters. We're going french country kitchen. with exposed beams, distressed white cabinets, and wood countertops.

Good call, Cope - Arizona. Wife planned every part of the home - I dub it "modern rustic." I love exposed beams - downstairs features them. Also a fan of open concept - wife doing something in kitchen, can still watch game, talk to guests.
