7 round mock the mock

For my knowledge this would be an excellent draft. Thaqnks for posting slash

Coach does have a point about our punter but I don't think a draft p[ick is needed. I think we can aquire a UDFA or two who can give excellent competition. Might be able to scavenger one also.

Salute the nation

Yep on the punter Drink. No need to draft one. Worked out pretty damn well for kickers like Reed, Suisham and The Wizard of Boz is day.

I don't draft a punter when we still have ours on a rookie contract. He's not losing games and he's one of the best pinning punters in the NFL. What did he have last year? Like 2 Touchbacks? And you want to get rid of him??

Also want to draft an ILB like Timmons? Didn't Coach rip on Timmons for years?

Cope,

No I was very pro Timmons and liked the pick. For a 2-3 year stretch, you could argue he was the best player on the defense!

As for Berry, he's below average, and if I can upgrade ANY spot for a 7th round pick, I'd do it. with a iffy defense a punter who can flip the field or have an offense pinned to me is a need, You might want to check out how good Dickson and Scott are before dismissing them as a 7th round pick. They are an upgrade from Berry,

Taken from the excellent Walter Football web site:

Michael Dickson*, P, Texas
Height: 6-3. Weight: 205.
Projected Round (2018): 5-7.
12/23/17: Dickson won the Ray Guy Award in 2017 as the best punter in the nation. He averaged 48.4 yards per punt with a long of 76 yards. As a sophomore, Dickson averaged 47.4 yards per punt with a long of 74 yards. He averaged 41.3 yards per punt with a long of 63 in 2015. The Australian Dickson has a powerful leg.

JK Scott, P, Alabama
Height: 6-5. Weight: 195.
Projected Round (2018): 5-7.

7/24/17: Scott punted well in 2016 for the Crimson Tide with an average of 47.2 yards per punt with a long of 66 yards. He was superb as a freshman for Alabama in 2014, averaging a booming 48 yards per punt with a long of 73 yards. It turned out to be the best season ever for a punter in Alabama school history. Scott dropped 56 percent of his punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line (31-for-55) that season. He was a First-Team All-SEC selection and finalist for the Ray Guy Award. Scott wasn't as good as a sophomore in 2015, averaging of 44 yards and recording a long of 59 yards.

Not to mention I google Steelers daily and saw one article comparing Evans to Timmons. And low and behold Coach throws out that comparison. I think the majority of his opinions come from what he has read over what he has saw.

I've been saying this for a while now. Not sure when the web said so, and Evans has been the guy I like the best that has a chance to be on the board that fit our need.

When it comes to top players, you get a lot of duplication that desires their games. As I said before I only used media to a baseline start. If you want, I can bump some of my old draft reads, which invoiced FLIM. I guess you skipped Burns and Watt reports.

I get the hunch some don't like those who toot their horns here. Are you asking me to show you again?

If you want something current, I suggest Mitchell would be cut before any media article I saw.

As you can see Steel, I've been pretty high on Evans and probably mocked him in round one before anyone here.

Now, your reaction to this is what? Like I said I have archives here if you want to see more.

can you read? He did not say you never liked Evans...his comment was about you comparing him to Timmons

Then the onus is on him to show what web site said that BEFORE I was saying he was like Timmons. He might find it, the two look similar on film. Evans I think is a shade quicker and longer, Timmons however was an iron man. I doubt Evans is that durable.

If you want to watch him on film, spend less than six minutes on the below link:

Nah no onus, yinz throw up everything but game tape. A compilation of his best plays? stats? Or what draftnicks spew? isn't watching game tape. Where you can see weakness compared to his strengths.

I see you in different threads always knocking down what a poster who actually watched game footage have to say. And then spew something to the board what you have read somewhere .
Tell you what go watch one prospect from three different games. And come back here and tell us what you see.

Because this

reeks of you just ******** things out of your ***, to sound like you know what you are talking about.

You try so hard to sound intelligent, without putting in the work. The poster(s) who actually put in the work? Have something a tad bit more insightful than they look long and quicker.

Right now you are a draft poser and the onus is on you to prove otherwise.

Because this is what you have shown over and over again. Thread to thread.

You ******* meatball.

And you produce what Private numb nuts? My work is my own. I explained my process a while back. I guess you forgot or did not read it.

Which web site said Evans looks like Timmons before I did?

Show me who felt Evans was worth our first round pick before I? When I have the time, I plan to do a film break down between Evans and Vander Esch

I think one of them will be on the board for us to pick.

took just a couple of minutes to find a comparison on the 15th and another from the week before.....and PPG had him as an option for the Steelers in the 1st round a week before you

That is what he does read articles and post his opinions from others opinions.

Coach no amount of bullshit you can conjure up will convince me otherwise.

My bad on the Timmy rip then.

I will say this about punters, yardage per punt is not the metric for the best punter. It is the metric for your team punting with the worst field position. Barry is a coffin corner kicking, backward spinning pin punter. I love those guys. He can hit 60 yarders when at 100%, but give me a guy who's going to back the other team up inside the 20 without a return, and I'll take that punter every day of the week over a strong legged, less accurate EZ punter. Punting yardage is directly linked to terrible offenses: https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/stats...=PUNTING&opp=0&sort=3&qualified=1&sortOrder=0

PS, punters also get better yardage/punt ratios for hitting the EZ instead of pinning. Look for Touchback stats for punters. And I was right using my memory. Barry had 2 TBs all freakin year! Remember Brad Wing? He led the league with 9. Actually a great move taking Barry over Wing, though Wing did used to be better at pinning when he was here.

1. Rashan Evans, ILB, Bama.
2. Justin Reed, S, Stanford.
3. JC Jackson, CB, Maryland.
5a. Lowell Lotlulelie, DT, Utah.
5b. Nyheim Hines, RB/Return specialist, NCSU
7. No change (TE from Miami),

1st: Rashaan Evans ILB
2nd: Kyzir White S
3rd: Dante Pettis WR
5th(49ers): Nwosu ILB
5th: Jessee Bates FS
6th(giants): Durham Smythe TE
7th: Austin Corbett OG

Other than not loving football or just being lazy, I have no idea why Lowell Lotulelei is not a dominant player.

Found a article had Lance Zierlein saying he was like Timmons. Just saw it so figured I would post it before it slipped my mind.

Not bad...but no way Nwosu last until the 5th....I would actually consider a second for him.

nobody does that

I'm not here to count, but some of my threads get lots of views.

When did the a media story say Evans is a bit like Timmons? Recently, or a month ago when I felt Evans would be a good first round pick for us?

Once you mind is made up, no one can convince you otherwise. Like I care one iota what you think! Have fun tracking down if anything I said was reported in the media. Just a tip, if you look hard enough it might apply to all here.

NOW Coolie,..............you just said you have to read every post............including coach?

But wish you could avoid any thread / post whose name begins with "C"

Because your threads are like the Wily E Coyote and Road Runner cartoons. Every one knows what’s going to happen, they just enjoy laughing at Wily E failing at something.

I’f it’s over your head, you are Wily E Coyote.
