7-0

Lots of banged up guys and that early bye week is biting us in the *** right now. Heyward, and Alualu hurts a ton. We will see how they progress but that’s two studs and with Alualu out the run defense wasn’t up to par. Buggs played the pass exceptionally well and I think earned himself some pass rush snaps when Alualu is healthy.

Spillane has impressed. We lost speed but his reaction and knack for getting to the ball is exceptional. Gilbert being hurt stunk but Allen filled in ok from what I could see. There was some wide open guys and my thoughts are someone had a coverage breakdown. Hopefully Alex Kozora breaks the film down.

Roethlisberger played very well. Running game didn’t do much and he was under fire a lot. Protected the football but made the throws that counted. I couldn’t believe he’s never had 1 MVP vote. That’s sad. Even Romo was dumbfounded.

Claypool looks special. JuJu is an ultimate team player. He gets the tough yards and seemed to be Roethlisberger’s favorite target when he needed to move the chains in the second half. Ebron is starting to get going.

Offensive line looked smooth. Not a lot of breakdowns Ravens seemed to just bring an extra guy that wasn’t accounted for. That’s just good blitzes and that will happen. Run blocking has been a little sluggish. Need to get on and stay on their blocks longer.

I'm still waiting on dem ******* who were 4-0 but who have we beat? And lets see where we're at after the next 3 games. 7-0 *******!

I have to admit I was on the thread about the Brown Titans and Ravens stretch and thought they might go 1-2 against them.

7-0 makes crow a whole lot easier to eat lol.

I want to hire some dudes to come by your house and move the recliner to the kitchen. Or did you and the hubby get that done already?

LOL. I will be coming down for a while. Sheesh.

Lol...my kitchen is too small to fit the recliner in, although I like your line of thinking...lol. The joys of living in a 1980s era condo...lol

Any word on Heyward. I hope he was just taking a breather to help the team..

I did think that was the slowest I ever saw a player get helped off the field.

Lot of teams would have quit after that **** show first half. Kudos to the coaches and the team leaders for not letting us quit. Speaks volumes about the make up of this team.

I'd guess it was more on the team leaders....but grateful they woke up

Yeah, what was that one guy's name? kept saying wait until the next 3 weeks are over because every argument he was making got shut down. Haven't seen him since then.

so we need to pitch in for carpenters, plumbers and roofers to build you an extension....pass the hat to the board.

Heyward, yes - but Buggs showed his pedigree today. I'm praying Alulua isn't out too long but our coaching staff is making great in-game adjustments w/ personnel...

Buggs made some plays, but the Ravens rushed for 260 yards.

I'm not sure whatever adjustments made were that successful.

Granted, the Ravens ground game is a rare beast, given how versatile and explosive it is, but the Steelers need Alualu back.

Would like to know if, before today, a NFL team has ever lost to a team after outrushing them by more than 200 yards? If I was a Ravens fan, I’d be sick over this loss.

most of those yards were in the first half...they did hold the rats to just a touchdown in the second half.....

I'm elated with the win, but a little bit of me is annoyed by how the Rats were able to run on us.

Spillane seems like he could grow into one of those "Heart and Soul of the team" type of players. Undrafted, underappreciated given a chance by the Steelers on the practice squad. When called on to start because of injury to a key starter, he just keeps on "flashing'. Kinda reminds me of someone else's story......

I guess, but even on the late drive where the Steelers got the 4th and 3 stop on the QB draw, the Ravens ran the ball on 9 consecutive plays for over 60 yards. It was hard to watch.

I cannot recall the last time a Steelers defense just got physically abused like that.

Keep it up.. Won two games with the last play being the difference.. Lets not go into Dallas laying down after another nail biter with the Ravens. Dallas is down , let them stay down
