6-0

Someone said quite a few times that they don’t get caught up in style points.

So did I...when Minkah got called for that blatant hold on the next play.

BUSH call. He was picked into the receiver by Jonnu at the line of scrimmage. He pick actually pushed him into hitting the receiver. Hochili’s crew called 4 holding penalties. They’ve called 19 holding penalties in 5 games. There are crews with less than that with 2 more games called.

That hit on Henry by Spillane brought back memories of Mike Wagner’s hit on Earl Campbell:applause:

Still waiting to see the OPI replay that led to that 3rd and 12. Also, Claypool has the first down.

Called on Samuels. Ironically they said it was a pick play. The exact same thing that got Minkah flagged for holding.

"Bring the Pain" Spillane

Yeah, that shot in the end zone that got picked. Bad decision. He was covered up. Bed had a guy wide open accross the middle. I think it was ebron, not sure

Yep, it was Ebron and he was WIDE open. No defender within 5 yards, and he was at least 6-7 yards past the LOS so he gets the 1st down easy.

Seems like Ben felt Juju not getting enough passes his way, made an overt effort to go to him, including forcing the last pass.

I believe other receivers were blocking in front of him when he caught it. I don't really know the rule, but sometimes it gets called, sometimes it doesn't.

I watched it again and McDonald definitely blocked the LB'er but not until immediately AFTER Claypool made the reception.

penalty was on Samuels

The two were side-by-side and both made contact immediately AFTER Claypool caught the pass. I can see how in real time it looked like the blocking was early but if you have it recorded, watch it again - the pass reception was first, followed by the blocking.

I wish I could care.

For once we're playing to our potential with our HoF QB and multitude of talent. I really want to believe that this is him finally figuring **** out after a decade and a half. The first sign of us playing chest-thumping, frontrunner, "this game will be easy, who cares" football like we did in 2015 and 2017 and we're cooked. We actually look hungry this year. Ben knows it's almost over and the guys do, too. Almost feels like "one for the Bus" part 2.

No, it was a good call. Minkah was holding Smith before absorbing a small bump from #84. Watch it again.

Hopefully Tomlin will be able to avoid another monumental playoff collapse, or you won't have to look too far to find us. Obviously, this team has enough talent to win a postseason game for the first time since 2016, and then challenge for a championship. He's certainly on the right path -- let's see if your hero can get it done.

I'm a Steelers fan too. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to root for them in the playoffs for 3 years straight. And the last time time they played a postseason game, they lost it, at home as a huge favorite, following a very promising 13-3 regular season. So spare me the all-caps huge-font "CRICKETS" bullshit until Tomlin starts winning some playoff games again. Thanks.
