ola 3rd edge rusher smitrh will be converted to ILB and hopefully used as a blitzer the way bell and Timmons were on the cross blitz

Again, maybe. Jaysam is a very good receiver out of the backfield and showed himself to be a pretty damn good runner as well. Injuries aside, Snell has his work cut out for himself to pass either Jaysam or JC. I hope he lights it up, though. That will be a good problem to have. Although, I am not sure Tomlin is capable of handling more than one good RB on his team. He likes to run the wheels off one guy when most teams are using multiple backs successfully.

Right. It's JC's job until he goes down, then Samuels and Snell will share the job, with Snell eventually proving he's worthy of being the starter. Better depth than last year.

Yes, and he failed miserably at the position. It appears he won't be able to get the job done at OLB in the NFL - doesn't have the power.

Yeah he failed miserably......sure. Are you going to bet on it?

Never played the position before and was asked to see if he could handle coverage responsibilities like a LB. They have plenty of film on rushing the passer, so they didn’t need to see his production on that. But he failed so miserably that he was drafted in the 5th no less.

Yeah.....are you denying you are Coach?

Actually, he was drafted in the 6trh round.

But 5th or 6th, Pitt's success ratio ain't great for either. Any who, what troubled scouts was that he got gobbled up by OTs on the higher level quite easily.

funny how you don't answer the obvious question. You should get banned for two more months if you can't respect a bet and own it when you lose

He will likely get opportunities inside and outside. If he can do one or the other well he might stick. If he doesn't do well maybe he sticks on special teams. He has some promise.

Basically, he is what 6th round picks usually are: a shot in the dark. But sometimes you do make a hit (AB).

Uh.......Sutton Smith played rush end with his hand in the dirt during his entire college career. The Senior Bowl marked his first reps as a OLB in a 2 pt. stance with coverage responsibilities. They moved him there to purposely see if he could transition as a stand up defender. So it was expected him to be “handled” by some of those huge OL.

You seem to pay heavy attention to the Senior Bowl. Have you watched film on Smith?

Are you going to deny you are Coach/Bushbaum? If so PM Coolie or Justin your IP address to prove it.

again, i was told a few weeks ago that bufford is "pops". are Pops and Coach the same person?

and if someone were to use a VPN, it wouldn't matter if they checked the IP or not.

That's what Justin said but thinking back , pops and dumbletard are both from the same part of Florida. Re: vpn he's not that smart

I thought pops was also known as coochie and it was common knowledge

What was the question?

What was the question?

This was the discussion, back when it was about football.

Who is the third pass rusher at OLB?

As it sits right now, Anthony Chickillo, Ola Adeniyi and Sutton Smith round out the outside linebacker depth chart behind T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree
.

We just don't know yet. Smith got smoked at the Sr. Bowl when facing top OTs. He doesn't appear to have the tools necessary.

The Steelers released Morgan Burnett, leaving a gap at safety. We might theorize Mark Barron will be the hybrid third safety, but in terms of an injury replacement for Sean Davis or Terrell Edmunds, Barron isn’t that guy. This means Allen is the top choice after spending almost his entire rookie season inactive.

I didn't see enough of Allen last season to even have an opinion, can he be our legit 3rd S?
How will the rushing attempts be split?

Already been covered. At some point, it will be Snell's job.

Who starts at wide receiver with JuJu Smith-Schuster?

I think it will be Washington, but Moncrief could sneak in there if James still isn't ready.

Talkin Senior bowl is Coach's MO, not Pops....
But wait, the op clearly is talking senior bowl. Pops has been banned and dumbletard is on a 30 day ban. Surely he wouldnt usurp coolies authority and pose as someone else. Now Bobby has surely upped his thread count since the draft, starting quite a few new ones. Curiouser and curiouser,,,,.
