Everything I have read is it is simply a case of him not being up to speed with making the reads and adjustments fast enough. The is still thinking too much and isn't playing fast enough yet. Typical for a receiver at this point in his career particularly with a QB like Aaron who expects his receivers to be on the same page as him with multiple signals adjustments and reads. Wilson is just now getting there.

Roman Wilson is on the verge of becoming a quality NFL Receiver. Steelers fans should be excited because in his third year he's finally looking comfortable out there. The kid has great hands and his route running and understanding of the offense has really improved. He reminds me of another kid a while ago with tremendous talent but was often overlooked in the first few years of his career but he went on to become one of the best WR's in the league....Tyreek Hill. I think Roman Wilson's arrow is pointing way up! Just wait and see!

Thanks.....interesting. Of the new guys, only Dowdle got significant snaps. And he underwhelmed rushing; didn't notice any RB blocking issues.

Nothing interesting there, yet, other than more work for Dowdle with Warren's fumble.

Seems pretty clear the standard set is 1 RB, 2WRs, one TE and then a flex WR/TE. Not hugely different from last season, except that Skowronski rode pine. Very different passing chart in game 1.

It will be interesting to see how they adapt for Gonzalez at CB this game. It's nice that Vrabel and team will have to adapt their GP from last season/decade against the Steelers.

Hope the OL enables the run early tomorrow, as a few more 2nd and 3/4 yds would provide Ayahuasca A-Ron with better options.

I was surprised with the RB snap counts as well. Over the course of the game, it felt like Warren had more than 25 snaps and Dowdle didn't do much with his 39 snaps. For how many times they threw the ball, Warren should've got more given his blocking and receiving ability.

Stephon Diggs as other posters mentioned would have been a game changer for this room. At 8 million it was a no brainer and we would have had a true #1 that can get open and catch.
