3 playoff wins in last 9 years?

Actually looking, in the last 9 years, Tomlin has won 5 playoff games.

That doesn't fit the OP's narrative. I figured he chose the # of years to exclude the wins leading up to the SB loss to the Packers, but I didn't verify.

I think that is more desperation to have anyone other than Tomlin than it is worshipping Harbaugh.

The point is that they would take Harbaugh over Tomlin. If you had Harbaugh, you get the team Harbaugh has put together, not the one Tomlin put together. What you end up with is no PO wins in 4 years and still whining like a little *****.

My point is, wanting someone else is fine. When you pick someone like Harbaugh, you no longer care about how many PO wins in X years, it is just whining for whining's sake.

For the DOOM Sayers if we get rid of Tomlin,...... WHO can replace him and we could end up with worse. Well, right now we know we aren't going anywhere as is.

Yep. And in the past couple of years, teams have hired Doug Pederson, Sean McVay, Mike Zimmer, Doug Marrone, and Adam Gase. Two of those coaches have more playoff wins over the past 3 seasons than does Tomlin, and all five have taken teams to the playoffs.

Totally agree and here's why:

1). James Washington is going to step up. His college production speaks for his worth. Everything I hear about how they love him in practice reaffirms that. I think it was just rookie jitters, thinking / trying too hard. He started to come on towards the end also. Look for a big improvement. Also, we should be getting a stud WR in the draft, we have Switzer, and Moncreif will be better than Hunter, HeyBey, etc.

2). Edmunds is going to step up. He was a rookie and had his pains, but the talent is there. Things should slow down for him. Year two will be big.

3). I'm hoping and praying that we get our ILB. If we get either of the Devins, it will be a massive improvement over last years crop (or should I say crap? Either fits).

4). Steven Nelson is an upgrade over Sensibaugh / Burns. And we should get another in the draft.

5). Boz can't be any worse, can he?

6). Ben is Ben!!!! We go as Ben goes, and I know he will reduce the INTs this year. Also, no more worrying about a little **** throwing a tantrum if he doesn't get the ball.

7). Mike Tomlin --- While he is what he is, I'm going to look at the bright side. With the two douchbags gone, he won't have to ignore the bad behavior. Popcorn, smoke, if you will, obviously.

Who Ride!?

We ride!

Maybe they have a quicker trigger finger this year if Boz isn't cutting it early.

Adam Gase? Are you sure or am I thinking about the wrong person?

Wanna give Marrone, who went 5-11 last year more than 2 years?

Mike Zimmer? 1 playoff win since 2014?

So you dont think we can get better than Tomlin? Its a riak but damn the alternative isnt looking good.

Oh but for Pederson and McVay, they had Chip Kelly And Jeff Fisher players

As long as Tomlin’s contract is not extended, there is s chance.
Unacceptable. No extension for Shades unless he gets to the Super Bowl. Although it could be argued that Don Shula did less with more.

I sure as hell hope so. Even with all the turmoil we were only a dependable kicker away from maybe winning a playoff game last year...:)

this years browns= that supposed eagles super team.

Just that those bandied about , either harbaugh, rex ryan are no better. I'm sure there are some out there that could do better than Tomlin.

However, 2016 playoffs we were in the AFCGG with, IMO a worse D than we had last year. The year after we have first round bye, again, IMO with a worse D than we had last year. We lost a game by 3 when the O gave the other team 10-14 points. We gave up less yards to Bortles than the *'s did the week after. The God of All Teams Belicheck/Brady only beat the Jags by 4 and didn't give them 10 points.

Last year was a clusterfuck from the top down. FO, Coaching, players, officiating.

Few points:

1. Tomlin has won 3 playoff games in 8 years. The teams he has won against : 10-6 Miami team with Matt Moore at starting QB, 11-5 KC team when Boz kicked 6 FGs and Smith the QB, and the bungles game where they gave the Steelers the win by committing 2 PI penalties on the last drive and the QB was A.J. McCarron. BTW the Steelers had over 140 penalty yards in the game as well.

2. If you look at Tomlin's losses they are horrible. At home to Jax a couple of years ago to a Bortles lead team. On the road at NE when Brady had a 127.5 QB rating and they scored 36 points. Baltimore where Ben was sacked 5 times and Joe Flacco had a 114 QB rating. Then he loses to Tim Tebow in Denver when Tebow has a QB rating of 125.6. and Ben is against sacked 5 times.

3. Yes it's hard to put up a good record in the playoffs. But the contrast is that you can only lose ONE game in any year. So the worst you can do is 0-1. But you also can go 1-1, 2-1,3-1 (if you get to the SB and lose), and you can go 4-0 by winning it. Tomlin's playoff record isn't bad because he can only lose ONE game. It's bad because he isn't WINNING any playoff games.

The ONLY thing good on paper, is brown...........................................

When the playoffs start next year it will be just under 9’yrs. so yes three in nine

Ha! The joke's on you. Can't lose a playoff game if you don't get to the playoffs. This coming season 8-8. No playoffs but Shades keeps his awesome ''no losing seasons'' record intact.

A-N-D possibly another shot to extend that ******* 8-8 non-losing season BS record....................

I wouldn't care for Harbaugh or Ryan either. They'd have to come up with a good option. All of the rest of your post highlights for me how they play up to their opponents despite his "leadership" not because of it. Its pretty amazing because he makes so many bad
descisions. From personnel choices to game/clock management, and cuckolding his faves, the list goes on and on.

I dont profess to know who our next HC should be but he's not the guy !!! I'm sure of it. It's only MY opinion of course. As a 45 year fan though i think I'll know it when i see it.

3 playoff wins in the last 9 years is unacceptable, and two of those wins came when the Dolphins started a back up QB, and the Cincinnati Bengals self-destructed.
