I knew it was bad but didn't realize just how bad it was until a certain self proclaimed super genius pointed it out on social media that the Steelers have won just 3 playoff games since 2010. With a HOF quarterback that is disgusting and just highlights how ineffective the Tomlin era has been.

Just wow.

I'm not sure how often you read this board, but that is well documented around these parts. I think Tomlin is a decent coach. Not great, not awful. I also think with only 3 playoff wins in the last nine years, any other team in the NFL probably would have fired him by now. Except maybe the Bengals.

Politely said as Our Head Coach has done the least amount possible with the most amount of talent. Also well discussed around here.

But no losing seasons! Oh, the bragging rights!

Whenever I hear that defense of Tomlin, it makes me contemplate the impact the Pirates have had on Pittsburgh sports.

There will be no playoff wins this year. The Steelers won't be in the playoffs.

You are dead wrong. We are gonna rock the NFL WORLD....O yee of little faith

This is one of the reasons I just smile when folks point out (regularly as they seem to want to do these days) that the Browns now have one of the most talented rosters EVER! I think to myself... Ya. Been there, didn't quite do that...

Talent doesn't win games. Nobody knows that more than Steeler fans.

TAKE a flying leap and think about this, unless it's above your pay scale......... Addition by Subtraction

Tough to get playoff wins when you're not in the playoffs. Also you only have a winning record if you make the Superbowl. It's a skewed stat at best. Lombardis are all that matters, and we are lacking there the last 9 years.

actually in the 2017 playoffs we had a winning record. :nerd:

We as fans have question the coaching of Tomlin for years but what all came out at end of year makes him look so worse as a head coach.

Uh! We know!

I always wondered if Tomlin lets say would have been passed over by the Steelers and hired by a team like the Bucs, Titans or Redskins where he'd be today. I realty think he's incapable of building a top notch team, especially defense, and without a franchise QB to save his ***, would be long gone. These owners are very impatient and for him to land with the Steelers was a stroke of magic and luck for Tomlin.

For the DOOM Sayers if we get rid of Tomlin,...... WHO can replace him and we could end up with worse. Well, right now we know we aren't going anywhere as is. What's the Odds we can hire a fresh "kid off the streets", a new inexperienced coach, fresh and hungry??? One that might say..... Hang around for 10-15 years.........?

I think the Steelers will be a 12-4 team. The secondary is will be one of the better ones we’ve seen from this team in quite a few years. Combined with how the front 7 performed last year they will only be better.

Ben has won with guys named Parker, Ward, Wilson, Miller and Randel El. I think they’ll be fine on offense.

Totally agree and here's why:

1). James Washington is going to step up. His college production speaks for his worth. Everything I hear about how they love him in practice reaffirms that. I think it was just rookie jitters, thinking / trying too hard. He started to come on towards the end also. Look for a big improvement. Also, we should be getting a stud WR in the draft, we have Switzer, and Moncreif will be better than Hunter, HeyBey, etc.

2). Edmunds is going to step up. He was a rookie and had his pains, but the talent is there. Things should slow down for him. Year two will be big.

3). I'm hoping and praying that we get our ILB. If we get either of the Devins, it will be a massive improvement over last years crop (or should I say crap? Either fits).

4). Steven Nelson is an upgrade over Sensibaugh / Burns. And we should get another in the draft.

5). Boz can't be any worse, can he?

6). Ben is Ben!!!! We go as Ben goes, and I know he will reduce the INTs this year. Also, no more worrying about a little **** throwing a tantrum if he doesn't get the ball.

7). Mike Tomlin --- While he is what he is, I'm going to look at the bright side. With the two douchbags gone, he won't have to ignore the bad behavior. Popcorn, smoke, if you will, obviously.

Who Ride!?

Not true my friend. You can lose the conference championship and still have a winning record.

While true, it is, still a skewed record. If you get a first round bye and lose your first game, you are 0-1.

A team that is not as good and has to play wild card weekend, might win that week and lose the next week. 1-1. Didn't get any further but they got "a playoff win."

What about winning the first round bye and losing in the AFCCG? Now you are 1-1 which seems no better than the WC team that didn't get to the AFCGG.

This team is only 2 or 3 seasons removed from being in the AFCCG. A slight improvement over last year's D (and we already have it in the CB department), probably, wins us one more game and we would have been in the playoffs last year.

BAL hasn't won a playoff game in 4 years and everyone wants to ride Harbaugh's jock like he is some kind of football God.

You mean he isn't?????

Our team has improved enough to make the playoffs by subtracting two major distractions. Add in the FAs and the draft class and we will be much improved. Looking forward to the draft to help clear up a few questions and to move on further from the two twatwaffle twins.

I think that is more desperation to have anyone other than Tomlin than it is worshipping Harbaugh.
