I think they gave up too much as well. I would think he’s quite a different receiver than Pittman. More of a game breaker. But they’re taking a big chance on all his injuries. The difference between us and them is they have a QB. On a rookie contract. They truly believe they are a player or two away from competing to win it all. And we are not.

Surprised they were able to get a first AND third for Waddle. Likely had to throw in that 3rd cuz the first is all the way back at pick 30.

I dont think teams think to highly of their own drafting. If you can't get a comparable player on a rookie contract taking receiver at 1, 3 and 4. Your whole scouting dept should be fired.

The price was a little steep, but overall it's a good move to get Nix another proven talent at WR. They are in a win-now mode and made a good move to advance the team.
Yep, they have a QB on a rookie deal and if he wasn't hurt they are probably in the Super Bowl last year, so they're win now, so they probably over paid a bit to get their guy.
Looks like that Brock Hoffman signing that was originally talked about but never came to pass, has now happened.
Brings some needed G depth to the room.
Will be intersting. Considering no viable QB will be available, they are down to guard,wr, db (safety). If the Penn St. Guard is there they probably go there. Or a slot/ wr.

Given the short history with Khan/Weidl, the focus will probably be on a premium position.
First two rounds on premium positions: Jones, JPJ, Benton, Fautanu, Harmon, Metcalf
First two rounds on non-premium positions: Frazier
If they go premium: QB, WR, OT (depending on Jones' health), IDL
If they go non-premium, but BPA: G, S, LB
The only positions I don't see in the first round are: RB, TE, C, EDGE, CB
I personally cannot see them going QB. Im not sure Simpson will be there and if he is I think it would be a massive reach.
There is one QB and QB is the only position worth trading up for. And A. There is no way the Raiders are not taking him. B. The collosoal cost to go from 21 to 1 would be insane. So put that out of your mind. They might move up 4 or 5 spots using one of the thirds and whatever to get a targeted guy. That's about it.

Yeah they could move to 3 to 5 for a specific target. I wouldn't break the bank with the two outside spots sewn up.
