A few days ago on twitter I saw a small trend amongst NFL fans, YouTubers, and journalist, superlatives for their favorite NFL trend. I did one of my own but its hard to really go into detail with 280 characters. So here we go. As always leave a comment with your picks for the 2019 […]

The deal with Bud is that, if he does great, we won't be able to afford him and if he just stays averagish, we will want to move on, I think. Sadly, even if he gets just a little above average, today's NFL has teams throwing money at those dudes like crazy.

I'm not expecting those late round picks to push him any, though.

Yeah ark, he has been playing a little better...but 1st round better....err no !

There are some very interesting youngin's trying to get a hat but so far they haven't shown they can beat out Chickillo...yet. Ola has the best shot, we'll see.

I'm sure the STEELERS approached Bud Dupree as a prove it year. I would bet they gave him the 5th year option in good faith as if he does prove it, the STEELERS will get a good contract with him, provided he proves it and keeps their word. Bud is playing at a higher level than most here give him. Yes he can improve but with the personael the STEELERS have obtained will help him with that imensley. Will he step up,................ None here know for certain but I'm willing to say he does and I hope he achieves what many here think he needs to.

I dunno, that didn't happen with Jason Worilds. His stellar one half of one season in his tag year didn't result in the big FA money he thought he get so he retired.

I feel like they knew they had a lot of positions to fill and they didn't want to create another one. So they over payed and picked up his option. If he has a good season they could apply a tag for 13-16 million and try to negotiate a fair long term deal. That has not gone well recently, but I guess what can you do. I doubt he would have a great season. Great at this point would be 8 sacks and solid run pass play.

I feel the Steelers can pay players. And if Dupree's light goes on nothing makes me think they couldn't pay him. they would have payed Bell, they payed AB, payed Ben, etc. I have to sell on the notion that they couldn't afford him if he bloomed. Nothing with the way they have approached signing make me think different.
