I thought the trip on Guentzel. But the goal scored would’ve negated the penalty anyways.
The high stick on Blandisi earlier too was another no call. Idk what the refs are looking at

I agree but he let his game slip in that last game. I remember seeing Coach giving him an earful a couple times. Maybe he just needed an extra day off or was sick and didn't tell anyone. I'd expect to see him back soon and better off

Is JJ miles away from how he was playing last year or what? Glad they didn't give up on him.
 
Man this is a tough team to play against right now. They are dumping, chasing and grinding... and playing solid defense. When Sid gets back this team can be amazing.
 
Interesting end to the game. Makes me wonder if that trip on Jake was intentional.

Hate to see a game devolve like that but the win does take some sting out of the Steelers getting ousted yesterday.

Another great team win.

Or maybe the 400 times Tkachuk cross-checked Letang throughout the game. Or the multiple cross-checks on Malkin.
 
I can't complain at all. Only two goals given up and they stuff in 5. Keep on truckin!

No way. Watched it 20 times. Certainly didn’t look intentional.
 
Wow what a resurgence from Malkin. He seems to do it when Crosby is out long term. I hope this time he stays the course when Sid returns. This team can be unstoppable if that happens.

Lots of dirty crap from the Sens last night. I get they are young but the refs need to control that ****.

He was having an excellent season. Gonna be hard to replace that. Part of me expects a move is coming. Just hope it isn't a panic move that screws **** up.

I hope not. They are getting other players back and Sid will be back eventually. I leave the team alone right now. They are playing well together. Don't screw it up.
 
4-6 months. That really sucks. He must have really shattered it. Very sorry to hear that

This year is weird. TONS of SIGNIFICANT injuries, but we keep winning solidly. I'm loving the depth, but hate that we need it.
 
So what is the injury to Sid and Bugs? I think I read Core Injury or something as descriptive. Did they have hernia surgery?
