I'm not sure Orndoff does any one thing well enough to eatn a roster spot. He's an all-around TE, a poor man's Jesse James. Practice squad certainly possible.
TMC, what is your view on Scott Orndoff? He does not appear to be that bad. Maybe the competition he faced was not that good but he seems pretty decent from the footage I have watched on him.
He seems to inline block fairly well and came away with his fair share of catches. He seems better than Matt Spaeth (although he is no longer with the Steelers). Jesse James-esque. Could he possibly take a roster spot from Grimble or DJ?
