I heard something that was supposedly said by a person in the Steelers building, we won't take a guy that cannot help us this season if we have another player that can. We would rather draft healthy players.
 
Just to say, I think Davis was a legitimate player the Steelers would have considered in the first. He would have taken the dot. Shazier would roam. Davis would keep the lined up and ensure coverages were in place. Charles Harris to Miami
 
I'm worried that Peppers is the kind of toy that Colbert fantasizes over. Not that he's a bad player, but there are other players that could play a role that actually improves the D better.

All I've read is that he'll be ready by training camp.
A five-month timetable following surgery in early March would put McKinley on pace to recover in early August. He would likely miss all of his new team's organized team activities, but he could be ready to roll during the early stages of training camp, which usually kicks off in late July.

Maybe, time frame is start of training camp to start of season. Somewhere in there. Might start season on Pup, means you miss first 6 weeks.
 
How are you all getting these picks, like for the Lions? Neither NFLN or ESPN have said anything more than the Lions pick is in.

WTF they just announced jarod davis on my tv,, espn,, at 1040 . 5 minutes after TMC says it.
 
The radio feed I am listening to has some. Some come off the net. I have about 20 pages open.

If they pass on him then that makes sense, we'll see. Maylock is also reporting Foster dropping due to shoulder injury, not the diluted urine sample at combine. Said teams aren't too bothered by that.
 
Jesus, I'm just gonna watch the TV then. Ya'll are nuthin' but a bunch of spoilers :)
