It’s only one year in, but how good has the 2017 Draft been?

Watt is on pace for Pro Bowl season; already with 8 sacks. He’s been making plays and building a high level reputation at OLB.

Schuster has proven to be a legit threat if you try and double Brown. He’d be the #1 WR on at least 25 teams in NFL — among AFC WRs he’s 3rd in receptions & yards (with Brown having only 1 catch more). He’s definitely having Pro Bowl season.

Conner is leading the AFC in rushing yards and TDs. What more can you say about him that hasn’t already been said with his breaking team records. He’s a candidate for All-Pro, much less Pro Bowl.

With fortune—all 3 will be named, but not play. In any respect, 2017 was a phenomenal draft and credit to Tomlin/Colbert tandem for making it happen.

Sutton isn't playing great, but is still getting spot duty on defense and Josh Dobbs won the backup quarterback job. Allen still on the roster and Adams on the practice squad.

Balances out 2013. Uncle Jarvis, he who remaines nameless. Lucky we got Vinnie or the whole draft class would be gone retired.

It's rare to hit 1 home run in the draft. The Steelers appear to have hit 3 with a couple singles and a double!

Watt is playing better than I thought he would. I thought we were just drafting a name. And JuJu. I always thought he'd be kind of special.

Looks like one of Colbert's best!

Watt
Ju-Ju
Conner

All top players! Conner and Watt could make the pro bowl this season.

Dobbs, starting to look like a solid back up. Sutton, a deployable dime player.

Usually it takes 3 years to judge a draft. Based on this production, the Steelers and Colbert grade out A.

The 2018 draft class looks ok too. Not too many standouts but Edmunds has been playing above the collar football for a rookie who wasn’t supposed to start. He looks to be a solid player.
Hopefully Washington gets going. He has all of the potential and attributes to be that 3rd guy.

We just got to use him properly

Funny, I was thinking this exact thing but thought we're only a year and a half in..looks like best in years other than this was the draft that was completely ruined when we took a 6th round LS Holba if I remember correctly (that far back).

If we hit as well on our first three picks, I could tolerate drafting a long snapper every year.

Washington is struggling with route techniques. Given the production of Schuster and Brown, the combined TE production and Conner; it’s not like Washington has been required to be on field a lot.

Hopefully he’ll continue to improve in off-season

Washington had more snaps than JuJu and not a single target. Dude needs to get open.

His fail surprises me. I would have never thought he would have struggled as he has. If Shaw was still doing WWS, I would tell him to go there for his off-season workout. But he needs to get with someone to help him fine tune his game. Work on his routes and speed.

Have him go to Florida and train with A.B. It'll either make him or break him. But, worth the risk.

So far, so good these players have panned out. Then again it's only 2018. Remind me in 2022 if these guys are still performing well.

I live in Wisconsin and when the Packers traded out of the spot ahead of the Steelers I couldn’t believe it. No one at the bar could believe it. TJ the Wisconsin boy sitting for the pack to draft him and they traded the opportunity away. I rub that in the face of all my packer friends now.
