2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

Strong push followed by a piss poor effort.
Down 3-1
- preds have the fans in it, need to silence the building next period. Still confident in doing so
(Pekcer is erect right now, he'll be rubbed out by the 3rd)
- face offs? - yoda de ****! Win some battles!
- Pens can take the game over "if" they want. Just a matter of sustaining

The PP is giving them more momentum and we can't do **** with it. Reminds me of Game 6 in the OTT series. Looks slow and are getting beat to the puck. NBC is sure loving this.
 
Remove head from *** for 3rd period please. Insert puck in net Geno. Shoot the puck and stop passing it around like a two bit hooker

well, they know what to expect for Game 4 and better be ready. They let the crowd give the Preds a super boost. What is up with all the odd man breaks all of a sudden. Need to sure up that D.

Just sloppy play and over correcting. Kunitz was trying to make too much happen. Just one of those games where I think we all knew the crowd was gonna be a boost. Let them enjoy their win on home ice for the 1st time. Pens will get them next game
 
Sounds like this is the game they mail in. Hopefully they wake the hell up next game.

I'll go down with the ship. But the Pens will win the series. Don't lose sleep over this loss. I feel for the most part when the Pens play simple they get amazing chances. Just a stubborn *** team who like to play gut wrenching games
 
The sloppy play of the Pens finally caught up to them. They are just playing the same game they played the first two games.

They had better put together a power play plan, and find out how to cut the turnovers. Maybe a shot on goal here and there? Also, can we have the Maata of two years ago back?

Did anyone really expect a sweep?

I wasn't expecting a sweep. I see the Pens in 5. Strong performance by the fans. Nashville is hostile place.

I think for the most part, the Pens played ok. Their stubborness and attempt at finesse cost them. Impressed by the fans of the opposition, but not the team. I thought they were gonna be fast. If the Pens play their game, and thats IF. I see no reason why the team doesn't head back to Pittsburgh up 3-1
 
Murray had his first weak game. If he stinks again in game 4, do you pull the plug, or does he have to lose the next 2 with subpar play before you'd go back to Fleury.

He won't, but you can't keep turning it over giving multiple breakaway chances either. You have to play defense. Even your star offensive players need to step it up. Take the next game and give the home crowd something they have never had in the next game....a cup hoist on home ice.
 
Missed game. Not too surprised at the outcome. That atmosphere in Nashville would be hard to deal with.

Hopefully can pull out a win in game 4 to go up 3-1. We been here before don't forget.

Hostile crowd. Dirty, undisciplined Preds were not called for countless penalties again. They got the bounces. They out-hustled the Pens.. Murray wasn't on his game. Pekker showed up in this one. And, we got our ***** kicked as a result.

The Pens haven't even really shown up yet in this series. If they get one good period in a game, they are lucky. They need to play 60 minutes. They still need to shoot the ******* puck, especially on the power play. It got to a point, they couldn't even get into the Preds zone on the power play, let alone get any shots. They better fix this **** or they won't win this series. They are not playing well and have a 2-1 lead. They are living on borrowed time thinking that will continue. They are the more talented team and now must show it for 60 minutes. Lose the next game and this is probably going to game 7 where anything can happen.

I wont push the panic button until they lose game 4, AND 5 at home. How many times have we seen this from them this year in the playoffs? They were left for dead against the Caps and the Sens.

I skimmed through the game awhile ago and at the end of the game they were pissed with the cheap shots and BS from the Preds. Maybe that is what this team needs to get back on track. I think the Preds might have made a mistake with all the talking at the end of the game.

Not good to poke the bear.
