Hello steelernation,

I am new here, but I been around the block on these steeler forums ever since the Trib days. Planet, and looking for a new steeler forum without the drama.

So here I go:

This might be "dream scenario" where the players just fall to us every time. I might even offer next years picks to trade up for Baun.
Sad thing is I still keep finding myself leaving players out who I want. ( Hamilton, Weaver, Simpson, Duventry, the top WRs, Gibson RB)

2.49 Baun ILB
3.102 Akers RB (Moss)
4.124 Wallace S
4.135 Gandy-Golden WR
6. Muse S/LB
7. Runyan OL or Roy NT

The first 2 are probably out of reach, but I would be willing to offer trading picks next year... ( For Baun 2.49+ next years 3rd), for Akers this years 3.102 plus next years 4th)

I know I have to leave out either a NT or more OL for development.

But as you can see this draft changes dramatically the scope of the defense. We add a Timmons/Chad Brown player who can play either LB spot, and should start right away at ILB next to Bush. Maybe even rotate to relief Watt and Bud on some snaps. ( Maybe even move to OLB next year if Bud leaves)

Wallace can be our 3rd safety, big Nickel next year, can even allow Edmonds to play the dime LB in some packages. ( was debating if that XFL Robinson would be a better fit as a FS backup)
Another safety in Muse? He is going to be drafted as a dime backer, and hopefully in the future become a 3 down ILB, if Baun makes the move to replace Bud. ( I want Bud long term!)

That front 7 ( Watt-Bush-Baun-Dupree with Muse/Edmunds) and Tuit, Heyward would be crazy athletic and fast!

Hi George always nice to see new posters. I don't hate your draft but Baun had that diluted sample and I wonder if that will effect his draft status if nothing more than a round or two slide. Overall had some things to like. If we had to go RB in 3 I think Akers would be good value there. Not a Moss fan if I had to diss any possibility.

Keep looking!!!!
I dunno I think overall the drama level isn't horrible here. Although on game day there can be some doom and gloom sometimes. But **** wherever you go in life there will be a certain level of drama. Just Mike Tomlin obviously some more than others.

Welcome to the board Steeler_George and happy friday on your Mock.

I'm still on needing an OL with-in the our first two picks. A step in and play type player as we don't have the drafting room for a project type guy.

Drama........DID you say DRAMA...........??

Just remember I'm always right and T'aint no drama here....... sarcasm

there's no drama here, just 2 or three trolls that spawn every once in a while and a couple of resident tools. The rest is dandy

Welcome aboard. Thanks for sharing your draft thoughts! We're always up for spirited discussion and debate. Just don't take things too personally around here. If you know how to laugh at yourself, you will do very well here, and have a great time.

There is some of the best information gathering you will ever find here. A lot of our posters are faster than most news sites in getting the breaking news up on this site. Always great insight and points of views that you won't find on other pages.

Plus our podcast host is pretty rad and writes a ton of articles...

Would like this draft. welcome. not really a ton of drama on the football side of things. avoid the politics/religion forms. we all turn into a bunch of drama queens there.
