WTF are we doing?

I am one of those hoping for that. Why bring back a 43 year old QB if that isn't a consideration? But you are right, you'd like to think he'd be around.
It is the one offseason fail on a very good offseason to date.

Before free agency should have been the cut off date for a decision where the team announced they were moving on and/or bringing competition into the room.

All in or move along little doggy move along.

Now here they are playing thumb wars in regards to the most important position on the roster.

Just an undesirable approach ..

Exactly there's no point in bringing him back, which is why I don't want him, but if he does come back I hope he does help the younger guys out as much as possible. Like you said what other reason is there to bring him back other than mentoring the young guys, then that's obviously not much of a factor or he'd be around them now. Everyone says he doesn't need to learn this offense because he knows it so well, then there's no one better to help Howard with it.

Somewhere in the foothills of the Andes, a jar of Ayahuasca is a little more empty.

There’s always that chance of him and Bryant sharing a “Poison Frog” spa —————

I share both these sentiments along the way. That 42 / 43 year old body VS the young guys is a factor to consider long and hard. Does the Geriatric bring enough physical / mental to out play the “young” physical / mental. No question on the mental geriatric gets the nod0, but the youth definitely closes the gap on physical, and big time.

Rodgers abandoned the pocket way too many times early or in his sense of scrambling thinking he can escape. To many fails at both and throws into the ground.

The youn-iN may not get the defensive recognition correct every time, but that physical escape has a way higher percentage of success. We had a 1st ballot HOF QB that made a living on his escapeability (not saying current QBs can match but you get my drift).

Oh, and by the way………. Rodger’s arm isn’t what it used to be to be. He’s “floating” a little more and his long range accuracy combined with the “floating” has made him more susceptible to incompletions / int.

Rodgers was a whooped lilbitch scared to death of contact by mid season last year.

Can’t really wrap my head around why anyone would want another year of scared lilbitch play
Not only want him back, but also being perfectly ok with him calling the shots when/if he shows up.

He beat 1 playoff team last year and that's when NE gave us the ball 6 times and we still almost lost.
