Good and bad about Tomlin

This is nothing new cooch. It has been a bad day don't make me agree with you.

You don't have too. It would have been our biggest passing play of the day. Feel for Pickens. A sharper more in tune staff and head coach would had red flagged it.

Color Tomlin lucky he was not asked this question during his press conference.

Why? If they asked him about it, he could stand up there and say "I didn't feel like challenging it." Nothing would happen. Sure, we'd *****, but that isn't getting him fired.

This team won't be exciting to watch until Tomlin is gone.

I don't want exciting...at least not the way too many describe exciting. I would like to see a team more like what we saw in the 90s and early 2000s...one that could run the damn ball effectively and play some hard nosed defense. That is exciting to me.

You mean soft, finesse and cute isn't exciting? I don't know about you but I love it when they get a drive going then throw in some sweeps and double reverse plays that lose yards. Then my favorite illegal formations followed by a hold. Just a well oiled machine... ;)

Yeah, with the required running plays in which the don't move anybody and gain no yards.

Running the ball takes commitment in camp and practice as well as in a game. They don't commit to anything, which is the biggest reason they don't do anything well. I looked back at the 2004 line for example. Sure, Faneca is a HOFer and Hartings was very good. But were Keydrick Vincent and Oliver Ross on the right side really that much better than what is there now? I just don't think so...I think the coaches had a commitment to running the football. They worked at it and they stuck with it. This idiot they have now...you might as well put the plays on index cards and just throw them down on the ground. Then just go around, pick them up and call the play that's on them. How can that be much different than what we see?

I hear yaz diver but also want to point out that HARD NOSED defense has had a little of its bite taken away in favor of rules changes and scoring for FF divas.

Yes compared tro our current D, we could be a hell of a lot HARDER NOSED without worry of infractions.

He's a keeper for at least 2 more years...

This ship has been on a steady decline for the last few years.

That is not a good combination. It's not.

And I fear that is exactly what is going to happen 2022-2024.

5-12 this season.
4-13 next season.
5-12 in 2024.

14-37 over three seasons. So much for "never had a losing season."
