Coach's top 50 steelers since the AFL-NFL merger

Where is Antonio? He should be on the list. Ike is WAY too high, if he deserves to be on it at all.

All and all though, pretty good list. I think Tommy Maddox should get an honorable mention just for ending the Kordell era LOL

where's Rocky Bleier

where's Rocky Bleier

Rocky was a good player and even better man, but not among our top 50 IMO.

I might revise the list and move it to the top 75.

Yeah, I think Rocky needs to be on it.

I think for sure he would have to make the top 75. BTW welcome back whats it been like ten years?

Ben is a tad too high. I think the top 10 would be reserved for obvious first ballot HOFer's. Ben may get there, but not at 1st ballot.

I like where Ben is at....The QB position is so important....in the 90's we had good teams with great defense's that didn't get us any SB's. only until Ben arrived did it happen.

Yeah I'm surprised at soo many people ahead of Jerome Bettis. He retired as the all time Steelers rushing leader and finished 5th in NFL history on the rushing list and going to the hall of fame. He should be much higher.

Um.. Ernie Stautner is missing. Ray Mansfield too.

I think he addressed that in the OP... he did it since the merger, and he wasn't looking at guys that just came in and played the very end of their career in that time. that's why a fguy like john henry Johnson isn't in there...

Dwight White should be top 20 on that list. For those of us who remember SuperBowl IX White was in the hospital sick before the game....most teammates and coaches had ruled him out....he walked out of the hospital with pneumonia and high fever and went on to star in Super Bowl IX. How he played and how well he played that game just blows my mind. One of the most underrated Steelers of All-Time. If my memory serves me correctly he went back into the hospital after the game and flew back a day or two later to be with the team.

And yes Ernie Stautner & Ray Mansield both belong on this list also.

Franco Harris is the Steelers all time rushing leader, not Bettis.

Kieth Willis ahead of Dwight White? Don't think so.
