This season has had its highs and lows.

We had our easiest schedule in years, and no key injuries during the regular season. The key injures happened mostly to our opponents. The result was an 11-5 record that featured wins over the Ravens, Texans, Colts, and Bengals.

However, for some reason we played down to the level or our opposition ( 4 losses to teams below .500, including door mats like the Jets and Bucs ).

With Lebeau out, and perhaps Troy, Ike, Harrison, and Worilds potentially leaving a repeat of 11-5 with a much harder schedule next season will take a good draft. Quick improvement among the rookies and 2nd year players is a must.

Ah, Coach ~ there's got to be a huge head on the roster SOMEWHERE you can focus on.

McCullers? I liked him as a reserve DT. Dude is tough to move.

Is this the Coach???

The one and only I suppose. Yes, this is Coach from the 1998's sporting news forum that crashed. The refugees found their way to Juiceman's forum. If you have your doubts we can refer to the super sonic VCR.

I think a lot of our 11-5 record was due to a super soft schedule. Next year we are going to struggle unless everything that you pointed out happens Coach. Well that and Mr Tomlin steps up and becomes a coach himself.

We had a pretty good year. I remember all the "experts" picking us to take last in the AFC North. We played good against good teams and bad against bad teams. This gives me hope for next year . . .

The steeler have not won a playoff game in four years. I don't think there is anyone out there in 2015 ( it's a weak year for head coaching candidates) to replace Tomlin, but I did notice both him and Haley's contract is up in 2016

This could signal a change is possible by 2016 if we are still an irrelevant team that has not won a playoff game in a long time.

I do think Ben and the skill players are excellent. The OL is okay. But the defense has many holes. One can not run a 3-4 with weak pass rushing OLB's. I think a better Nose Tackles could help a lot. The Defense gave up 4.4 yards per rush and only faced 3 of the top 12 backs.

11-5 is just good enough to save some jobs (not DLB's) and give some hope and also screw up your draft and keep you from not getting better. Not that Tombert knows how to draft anyone except RB's and WR's anyway but I digress.

coach- you had the dvr that could fo a season worth of games in 10 minutes correct? od did you own the gym ?

I had neither

Pit Tron had the VCR ( few had DVR's back then). Never owned a gym. Just a guy who played and coached many moons ago.
