Really hope this isn't an indication of how the DPOY voting is going to go. I mean the idiots at PFF didn't even have Watt as 1st Team All-Pro. They went with Crosby and Garrett. smh

Huntley was in the action of advancing the ball after getting up… not a sack.

Favre looked like he went down due to a shot from mystery sniper right in front of unblocked Strahan with 2:42 left in THE SEASON… sack record!!!

FU! KING! BULLSHIT!!!!

But no surprise!!!

Upon further review Strahan's 22.5 sack was an abortion play that everyone involved including Strahan should be embarrassed of. Strahan is a public figure. He should have the balls to say TJ's half of the record is more legit.
 
No surprise. The Steelers always get ****** by the NFL. Watt will win DPOY this year and smash the 22.5 sack record next year to win his 2nd DPOY. I'm thinking a healthy Watt gets 25 sacks next year. Suck it, Goddell!!!!!

PFF was a noble idea bought out by none other than cris Collinsworth and relocated from England to Cincinnati, where im sure the supply of idiots for him to utilize was much higher….

Look i like the concept of what they are trying to grade, but mostly if you don’t know specific duties for each play you are guessing and that’s what they do… hey they probably get most basic plays right, but its so damn subjective its very easy to apply a huge bias without even trying

What pisses me off is Elias Stats did the review and didn’t follow the actual ruling of what an aborted play from the center is. It’s aborted if the player recovers and ends the play. QB didn’t end the play, he elected to extend it after recovering the aborted snap. The rule stipulates if the offensive player recovers and attempts to forward progress (via pass or run) and is tackled behind the line of gain, “the defense should be awarded a sack and yards lost attributed to the ball carrier”.

If the snap was aborted (it was) then the C is charged with the fumble. However, only Huntley was charged with a fumble, not both. Therefore it can’t be an aborted play. It can’t go both ways for the record keeper (BAL scorekeepers).

No this smells like more nefarious interference from the Commish making sure his good buddy Bisciotti doesn’t have a major record going against his club.

The concept itself is impossible, unless all 32 clubs require their coaching staffs to provide data. Coaches won’t. They are just as proprietary as any corporation. Why would they give up their plans to win games?

PFF pin heads cannot know what a player‘s job is on any given play unless he is in the huddle when the play is called in by either the coach or QB. Even then, any particular play may have been modified based on the situation in real time. The majority of the stat heads for PFF who follow their specific teams have no more knowledge to the intricacies of the play call, player responsibilities than any other well read fan.
