Mike Tomlin, Matt Canada, and Keith Butler need to be held accountable.

I know that we have BIG issues but I'd think one could find any team with those near same photos somewhere along the line. True, you may find way more (qnty) of the STEELERS but ........................

That sums up Oline and Dline well. Full of fail.

The 2nd pic seems more like #93 than the D-line looks to me he over ran his gap..1 Chef lineman blocking 2 Steelers is there any wonder we give up 273 rushing yards a game

Wow.
Except its the players that need to be held accountable. There's just not enough talent.
If someone could explain to this novice how coaching would have prevented these D linemen from getting mauled.

In all seriousness DIC, I actually really thought same thing. You know the old low hanging fruit saying though…😈

Who have been the decision makers and captains of the ship for the past 10 years, when the Steelers went from a team that stuffed the run better than any in the NFL and ran the ball as well as any other team to the current collection of marshmallows who get ***-raped by opposing running games and cannot run for **** even with their 1st round RB?

"It's the players." Yeah, the players that the leadership PICKED and COACHED, so they are to blame.

As to how to make the run defense better - didn't this same team use 1st round picks from 2013 to 2020 on defensive players? So if the players are supposedly too ****** to stop the run despite eight consecutive first round picks used for the defense, then the people deciding that those players were the ones they wanted need to be held accountable.

Also, a dumb coach refuses to change. He runs out mediocre talent in a scheme not designed for whatever skills they have, keeps jamming that square peg into the round hole, and is shocked when it doesn't work and his team is outscored in the first half 119-23 in their last six games. Basically, the team starts ever second half trailing 20-3. That is humiliating.

Well you identify your weakness early and make the right decisions on bringing in injury replacements. They feel they can fill holes with draft picks that is fine for the future but doesn't address the here and now. Part of being a coach is making good initial decisions. Tombert hasn't been doing that. They cleared cap space but failed to properly address their lines. And it cost them on both sides of the ball. Bad evaluations and decisions doomed this team. Those decisions continue on to present day.

It's no wonder that Minkah is our leading tackler. Loosing Tuitt and Alualu really impacted this defense and stressed the importance of having solid depth on the Defensive line.

The Steelers are going to need to address some crucial needs in free agency, they have too many holes to rely on the draft alone.

The problem is that the same people who orchestrated the current clown show are going to be the ones to try and "fix it."

It's basically asking the guy who burned the house down to take over fire safety.

The Steelers and their head coach evidently thought passing on Creed Humphrey was a good idea, and that a guy who played guard for 90% of his college career could become immediately serviceable as an NFL starting center. That's a good part of the reason.

Right as if the decision making is at an all time low, why would another off-season of decision making improve the team? If both the HC and GM is still in place how can we expect positive change?

Screwed pooch on last post/quote. Don’t know how to edit.

Just enjoy the pooch................................................. lol

In the first pic it almost looks like the Steelers are on D. 2nd pic is just bad. The hole is huge and 81 isn't even blocking anyone. Edmunds may have a shot but that's it

That first picture has 2 of our guys making out on the ground, 5 red shirts (4 of which are 2+ yards into our backfield) in our backfield, and 2 more at the LOS. But, many here will still find a way to blame Ben or Najee.

The 2nd pic, well, a ******* mack truck could fit through that hole. Draft Davis from GA in the 1st ******* round!

You could find some throughout the season, but lately, these types of photos could be gathered from many plays each game.

Our opponents create holes a tractor trailer could drive through where our run blocking is a disorganized mess.

Oh, and who is that guy taking on Adams, #57, single-handedly and dominating him?

Wish the Steelers had a crack at a guy like that.

Finally!!!! In color, HD picture proof of hell being unleashed! Now, about that Loch Ness and Sasquatch…..🤔
Nessy was proved to be fake. Created by some guy in the daily mail however I would not rule out such creature as I don’t think dinosaurs are completely extinct. Nessy could be a surviving rare species of the prehistoric variety.

I would not rule out samsquanches either. Ricky, Bubbles and Julian were on the hunt back in the day

As for offensive lines. The Steelers need Jesus at this point

First pic… shows the idiotic OC play call on a 4&1.
second pic is ugly too, but Adams is obviously being held.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't a flag on that "holding" either. Thanks Ike

OK, I see.
When I read about "blaming coaches" I right away think along the lines of coaches teaching technique or conducting training workouts and such.
But yes, talent evaluation and "players being used correctly" are also a coach's responsibility. Thanks.
