Again, a lie. The argument during the summer of 2020 was that once the election was over, the hysteria and lockdowns would die down and Sloppy Joe would be named a hero.

Sure enough, guess what happened in late 2020 and early 2021? Lockdowns ended, schools re-opened and King Fartbag praised for his brilliant handling of the Chinese flu. However, when it became clear that the two idiots in charge were as popular as anal warts, the lockdown panic returned.

Covid is in fact a lab-generated flu, with a very similar mortality rate (0.5% of the exposed population). The reasons it has become so much more deadly are two-fold.

First, because it was developed in a lab and specifically engineered to make it more contagious, it is vastly more contagious than a natural virus. That was the whole goddamn point behind the gain-of-function research - to make it more contagious to humans.

Second, natural flus have been around for millenia, and the vast majority of the population have built up natural immunity to a massive variety of flus, providing protection against those strains and to some extent even the new strains, just like the Chinese flu vaccine provides benefits in the form of lowered symptoms and reduced mortality against a new strain.

Idiot, the issue is not the vaccine alone. Never has been. The issues are (1) the utter refusal of government to recognize natural immunity, and (2) the demand - compulsion - to take the damn vaccines or face dire consequences.

The NFL reported the number of positive cases Monday and Tuesday ended up at 88, but with players coming and going on the list, about 100 is more accurate, the league's worst two-day stretch during the pandemic.

Dr. Allen Sills, the NFL’s chief medical officer, said Wednesday, the omicron variant has been found among the dramatic increase in Covid-19 cases throughout the league.

Sills said NFL owners were told in meetings Wednesday that booster shots are the focus of efforts to minimize spread, with Sills saying the omicron variant is expected to become the dominant strain in the U.S.
