Yeah, time for 7 to hang it up and a huge purge of this roster. Heyward, Watt, Schobert, Johnson, Freirmuth and Boswell can stay....the rest can get on with their lifes work.

Didn't realize Ben was suppose to be out there trying to stop Joe Mixon today.
Defend all you want. Ben is a part of the problem today. If only for that pick 6. First INT was Claypool's fault. But that pick 6?
Let's hope they all can get it together in the second half to at least look respectable

Game definitely over at halftime. 1st int looked like Claypool ran the wrong route. Either way, he and Ben definitely weren't on the same page. Claypool dropped an easy 1st down. Then, Ben throws the pick 6 after Minkah's interception when his arm gets hit. This team is done. I just don't see us beating anyone as long as they run the ball at us. We just can't stop it and then it opens up the pass. If they are a good throwing team as well, the game is over early. And, since our no huddle is still neutered with only some plays in it, we can't do much to try and come back. I fully expect the Bengals to get at least 2 more TD's in the 2nd half.

They're really suffering without Alualu. Add in Tuitt and the Steelers have one of the most dominant defensive fronts in the league. Injuries have killed them, but the linebacker play and tackling behind them has been atrocious.
You blame Tomlin but he is not the defensive coordinator.

The coaches aren't the problem. You have to have down years whether from injury, lack of talent, old QB... the party doesn't go on nonstop.
Oh they are. This entire organization is a mess. I don't think you can absolve anyone from this cluster **** of a season.

**** man. Watch Bush play. They are accepting that ****. How is that not coaching. Christ Shoebert might as well carry Bush to the tackle on his back.

Like I've said before, this team doesn't have the talent nor the coaching to overcome it. Cool shades has no clue when to go for it, how to manage time, or when to take a knee. He's pathetic. And his attempts to prepare this team are complete failures.

Did you even read the post I responded to? It was about the inability of the defense to stop the run and I acknowledged injuries to Tuitt and Alualu contributed to that. What does Ben Roethlisberger have to do with the run defense? I'll wait for a good explanation.

Actually, they are really suffering because of their QB.
This is not true at all… the offense is a problem because the interior line gets no leverage and the center is getting blown up by power rushes, the lt cant handle speed rushes, tgey have one wr who can run correct routes..

You cant put the qb under center or run up the middle because of the line issue… the wes dont get separation…nobody fears us deep down the middle, because that takes the most time to set up and we don’t get it so the defense covers the short middle and sidelines and shuts us down because we aren’t going to have time and our run game is all outside

Harris is a great back, just not what was truly needed with that pick. 2 years fixing the OL, then you go after a top RB.
Unfortunately they tried to put the band back together for one last championship run with Ben. Drafted a RB in the first round and a bunch of OL late. The O Linemen will likely never amount to anything and Najee will be long gone by the time we are rebuilt. A completely wasted draft.

Would probably be cheaper than my turnpike tolls these days.

I would bench Ben for the rest of this game, maybe the season. They aren't coming back today and aren't making the playoffs. Play Rudolph, Haskins, some bum off the street. At this point, does it even matter?

I'm watching the Eagles now. Hurts looks like crap but their OL has some grown *** men.

My bad. I thought you said that you didn't know that Ben was supposed to be stopping Joe Mixon. And by saying so, you brought Ben into the conversation. If you didn't say that, my most sincere apologies. If you did say it ... well, there's your explanation.

We have them right where we want them.
:ROFLMAO: Yep...what will probably happen is they come out and come roaring back only to crush us at the end by still losing. I need to be like the guy that said he was going to do yard work or whatever...I've seen this movie one too many times.

Tuitt is gone. They are holding onto him right now as it's too late to do anything. I'd be shocked if he isn't traded or cut before next season.
