Typical damn Steelers

not sure which part of that is "bitching"

it was just a typical Steeler game

Loved the win no matter how it happened defense made plays when they absolutely had to to close this one out

only ledges I have are for the tools that hate for no reason, that give up on the game in the first quarter if one bad thing happens. hell if they are too scared to jump...i'll give them a hand
Actually never meant to imply you bitched. It just got ppl started bitching.

But yeah I know you’re all to ready to go all in on ledge selling futures like you’re Billy Ray Valentine on frozen Orange juice.

Here’s a dollar

Get a win and still you’re pushing those ledges you sell?

Kinda crazy ppl bitching we don’t dominate every second of game 1 week after a complete meltdown.

I think you're confusing Coolie with someone else. And read his last sentence again, it starts with "Great win". Edit: never mind, I'm always late to the party.

Nope. He’s a ledge selling master that Billy Mays would be envious of.

All Coolie gotta do is nudge and it’s an avalanche.

Yeppers, right after it went through his hands. Looked catchable to me but then I only got to see one simple replay of it.

Don't get me wrong as I think Chase is a very good player but it's the little details of this team that drives me nuts.

I agree. He didn't drop as many last year. I was hoping JuJu would have told Diontae, Washington, Claypool, Muuth and even Ebron to invest in a good jugs machine like he did. It made a pretty noticeable difference in JuJu's drops after his 1st and 2nd seasons with us.

So the 2 sacks and fumble recovery last week don’t count?

His TFL and twice forced pressure on Teddy B to throw it away on 3rd down from goal to go and to throw the INT. He drew a double team on Bush’s sack.

Fact that they got off field on 3rd down most of day and offense had commanded time of possession—gonna limit some defensive stats. That’s actually a good thing

I’d say that’s more than “nothing”, what would you prefer?
Great post. I'd agree that 2 sacks, 3 TFLs, 4 QB hits, and a fumble recovery certainly amount to something.

Watt was only on the field for 50 defensive snaps this week (as opposed to 69 versus Buffalo), because the Steelers were able to run the ball and control the clock.

To be fair, I was a little harsh on WATT when I wrote that post but I always watch 2nd time through and see I was a little hard on the guy. I've always supported TJ and will continue but will also hold the high standard of STEELERS lore of long ago.

Ben did nothing wrong every pass cannot be on the mark, one over throw..two dropped passes and one that Claypool should have caught. The defense that gets talked about as the best once more allowed a lead to slip away and allowed a team in the fourth quarter to move ball at will. Once more the bad tackling and very loose coverage came back to bite them. Took an outstanding play in end zone to secure a victory. I would say fans at home and the stadium could see a different outcome coming our way once we had that long drive in the third quarter.

Way closer than it should have been our D fell apart. I would not say the INT was a great play he had good coverage, but the pass should never have been thrown. I feel Denver really blew their final series, the play calling was terrible. They basically wasted 2 downs with very low percentage fades when they literally could have ran any play. I would have ran a slant, QB draw, WR screen, TE screen, or even a regular run. They helped us out and a win is a win.

Speaking of sacks. I will drop this here worthy of a chuckle.

Not to hip on the spoiled ones but............................................

facts......................

Fresh ones are by far the best........................................................

LoL

Some here think everything needs to be perfect and proper to be aNY good. We played a great game yesterday and should be dang glad we won. Football is a fickel game and can change just like that. We held on to the end and for our team as is, that is a celebratory thing. I'll take it everytime.
