As for Carter, the eight-time Pro Bowler never appeared in a Super Bowl. He spent three years with mediocre Philadelphia Eagles teams then joined the Minnesota Vikings, where Carter's career took off.
 
I wish some past and present players would come to Ben's defense at some point.
 
When this season ends, Ben will be in the top 5 of all major QB career stats. This is another reason why I don't give my time listening to talking heads. They are on tv/radio to bring opinions and drive ratings. Sensationalism sells. You know what else sells, numbers. Ben's numbers can not be taken away from him. He's produced for this team since the day we got him. We are blessed to have him and I hope he can get another ring for us before he is done.
 
To say BB is not one of the smartest QB’s the NFL has had; that he is an attention seeker, through injury or shrugs responsibility and lacks leadership are all obtuse observations. Carter has either chosen to speak while uninformed ( 2 SB championships, 3 appearances, top 5 all time stats when said n done, serious, documented injuries, often pointing the finger at himself or giving credit to others) or Carter has developed a lasting dislike of Ben for transgressions well in his past???

interesting for a recovering alcoholic/drug addict, given a very generous second chance, to not understand the concept of empathy or forgiveness, especially for someone that has show tremendous growth n maturity since making youthful mistakes and taken steps to give back to community/society???

Cris Carter talking about someone's intelligence lol that's rich. Coming from the guy who was kicked off a team for alcohol abuse, cocaine, and ecstacy usage.

I hope Ben remembers this hate when he's elected 1st ballot in the HOF. Don't shake this clown's hand.

Going after Ben's toughness and the amount of injury he's played through is absolutely disrespectful. He's arguably the toughest QB to ever play the game.
