Ben Roethlisberger is the top UFA QB next year unless you're prepared to send multiple first and second round picks for Rodgers or Watson.

I'm kinda surprised this is playing out how it is. I figured Watt would have been signed and at least had a few practices under his belt. I'm sure he is in good shape, but football conditioning is different. It's he going to be more prone to injury now?
I would not compare this to Bell. Bell had a ton of mileage and injuries. His numbers were also very inflated due to him being an almost exclusive back. Most teams were using 2-3 backs. TJ is still a premiere player. Signing anyone to mega $$ is always risky. Hopefully they can work something reasonable out
 
Are the Rooney's just cheap or is Watt simply greedy? A bit of both perhaps?

Watt probably will get signed.......but I don't think anything about it will remotely be reasonable. Greed is like that.
 
I said earlier and I heard it twice today, team is off until Monday. Speculation I heard (rumor) he will be signed when practice opens to prepare for week 1. Also, another rumor was don't be surprised to see a RT, yes RT; think they may go with Moore at LT.

Yeah Aditi was saying something along those lines that they (Watt, Steelers) have been close. I tend to believe her reports.
 
Aditi seem very legit when it comes to STEELERS news. I tend to listen to her reports as well.

Now add those up and I think something is about to show.


Adam Shefter has been less than steller in his reporting so beware.

Adidi randomly called my number last night looking for slash, i said he wasn't here, then Coolie also not here, lastly Cope or Superman and the same not here. She then asked who this was and I said well........ you called me who who did you dial.....................

She said she really was looking for Drink IRON City but just used those other names to break the ICE..

We talked a little football but once she found out I could garden and make SALSA she perked right up about my recipee and such. She even wants a ride in the
LUXURY S10, great new friend.

She finally gave me the insider insider of the WATT contract but swore me to secrecy until she announces, I will not break that trust.



Some of us are very close in the opinion of contract and announcement,..... this statement is true, the above statement you will need to make your own determination.
