This bears monitoring.

Chuks apparently can't remember to keep his arms out when pass blocking even though they keep coaching him on it. A move wouldn't surprise me at all. Or, a signing if they don't think someone on the roster can handle it.

Apparently, Banner didn't practice at all. Guess his knee isn't healing as well as they hoped.

Yeah I watched him closer upon second viewing, and it wasn't pretty. That's great news about Moore though, looks a steal so far.

why would bears monitor that?

It might be a few weeks before the final 1st team OL is solidified.

PS

Must be something wrong with BANNER and I'm not happy about that. We need all our guys good and healthy. I also realize it could just be to see where chukes fits.

ALSO

there is that chance Coach Tomlin reads this board and seen my pimpiN of Dan.

Colbert did a lot of good things this offseason, but they did not put a premium on the weakest positional group on the team. Heading into training camp handing the job to to unproven players (well, Okorafor proved to be bad at RT) wasn't a smart strategy and there was always a concern with Banner bouncing back from a major knee injury. I hope this doesn't come back to bite them and maybe it's a blessing in disguise allowing Moore, who's outperformed Okorafor, to start at LT. Still have time to figure things out.

Where oh where has our coach been ???

I'm thinking about retiring the LUXURY S10 and may need his opinion on where to get another LUXURY vehicle.

Apparently the coaches couldn't bear watching the O line any longer.

I’m telling ya’all will not be disappointed with Big Dan Moore. I watched him and Buddy play at my alma mater The Texas A & M and they were great players going against the best talent in the SEC.
Both guys play nasty and aggressive and I look for big things from them.
Buddy will be mainly ST this year and he will be a headhunter but if given a chance I can see him making his move to ILB next season.
Big Dan should start now! He’s a big, aggressive nasty player who of course will have growing pains but he’s already an upgrade over Chucks and Banner.
I really like Big Dan and Big Dot on that OL. Greene worries me at center with his pass blocking. He’s got to get stronger otherwise expect lots of pushing him back in the pocket. I do think he will improve though with experience and getting stronger and be a quality center. That’s a great nucleus between those three. Next season we need to get a quality guard and tackle which we should do in the draft and FA.

I like Moore. He's been excellent in pass protection, but his run blocking needs some work. Not unexpected, given the system he came out of at Texas A&M.
