Kinda surprised at sexton. thought he had a shot

Was kinda hoping Pitts would've made it, local kid and wasnt looking too bad in game either, even had a INT only playing 2 games. Was hoping they'd keep him over Layne.

His muffed punt fumble loss and next punt fumble but recovered probably help seal the deal.

He shot himself in the foot trying to do too much last night. 2 apple turnovers does not translate very well if you're on the bubble...

Should have went for the Cinimmon .

I thought Shakur Brown had a real shot to do something… he spiraled out of control trying to make an impression… he could be a practice squad guy…
I did too. Brown started out strongly on special teams against Dallas, but he was horrible in coverage on defense. I'd imagine he wouldn't have been cut already if the Steelers were considering him for the practice squad.

Per Rap sheet Haskins will be making the roster.

I’m thinking since Dobbs got a boo-boo in the last game they’ll stash him on IR and keep Haskins. Otherwise they might have cut him since he didn’t look that good in the last game.

Unfortunately, some of us didn't get to see his part in the last game. NFL network decided to cut out all of the second half Steeler drives.

Can't IR Dobbs and have him eligible to return unless he is on the opening day 53. If they IR him now he misses the entire season.

Would he even be able to practice if he were on IR? On the practice squad, he'd at least be able to run the scout team.

They included the entire game on the next replay at 7am Saturday. Haskins had horrendous stats before the last drive against Carolina's third string.

They tend to stagger it out sometimes… the thing is that when you cut a guy like that early, teams can be less likely to pick them up… waiting to see who else is going to shake loose… he was an udfa after all, so it makes some sense to cut him and let him go through waivers first, especially right after that train wreck of a game he had just had

Gilbert and Mondeaux making it a surprise for me.
